Some young man working there stocking shelves on 12/30 around 5pm in the yogurt section was blocking the aisle while speaking to a female friend of his (i assume) so i politely said excuse me to squeeze through. For some reason he felt it was necessary to mock me so I responded and said I said excuse me to be polite. Im not sure why he felt the need to be so rude. Maybe he was trying to look cool for his female friend. You never know if someone is having a bad day so why mock a stranger? Hopefully this young man can go work on himself and find the inner peace he needs to be a better person.

I went thru the check out line and the cashier gave me back 88.05. I gave them a $100 bill. My total was $1.99 she never counted it back to me just handed my money to me thank goodness I stopped and counted it because it was $10 short no good. Self check out was closed for cash it says credit card only I would rather do self check out because I get the correct change back. Please count back money to the customers it only takes a second to do so. Then I had to wait for the other customer to cash out before I could get my money back. It took even longer after I had waited in line 4 customers ahead of me and only 1 cashier working. What a joke this is horrible customer service. Please fix this not sure if you need better training or what. Thank you for listening.

Went last night and had a very rude experience with the self check out girl. Younger girl with long hair and some pink in it. First off she had an attitude with everyone. Great start. No one forces you to work there.. if you hate your job so much then quit. As I was leaving the self check out I took my 1 bag of groceries in my hand and I grabbed the black basket in the other. I've worked at a safeway for 6 years and I know what it's like. I always take my baskets back and try to help out. As I was walking to go put it back the girl was walking my way and SNATCHES IT OUT OF MY HAND. Doesn't say a damn thing like.. "I'll take that for you"... Just NOTHING. Proceeds to bend my wrist back in the process. Absolutely ridiculous and rude. If I was her manager I would have fired her for pulling some crap like that. Don't work in a customer service job then!

Kinda expensive, and they didn't have the tickets for the Portland international raceway light show. Not only that they didn't seem to know anything about it. However the boy at the customer service desk was nice enough to look it up for me in the system and tell me what other safe ways had those tickets, so there's that.

Went yesterday night and this is by far the most unfriendly/unhelpful Safeway. Besides the guy who was collecting carts… He was cheerful and wished me a good rest of my night. As far as the lady with the dark hair in customer service… Remember that no one forced you to work here. You had to fill out an application and tell them that you wanted the job! We all have bad days, some sob story, whatever… but at the end of the day maybe being helpful, nice and kind to others will hopefully put some cheer into your life! Leave your bad attitude at home, pray or something! So sick of negative people having customer service jobs when they clearly just hate people. God forbid I ask you for help at your job. These employees act like you’re bothering them with simple questions. CHEER UP!
