- JJJames JacobsonAug 16, 20252.0We were coming in from out of town and Apple maps gave us the impression this was a local chicken joint. We'd never heard of the place. We discovered it was just a chicken place inside of a convenience store, much like a Chester's chicken in other areas. There are signs pointing out that it's not affiliated with the gas fill up on the property and a satellite image gives the impression it's a restaurant in itself. We ended up going for it anyways as we were traveling through and on a schedule. It was nothing really to rave about. All the images of the chicken sandwich show it with pickles. I guess you have to ask or they're with the condiment packets next to the hot case. Kind of what you would expect from convenience store food. Although better quality than most, it is what it is. If only I knew A&W was just down the street. I wasn't the one navigating though and we were heading east at that point. You can get all of your snacks and drinks for the road along with chicken strips if you're moving on through.
