Domaine Willamette is Oregon’s first winery exclusively dedicated to producing world-class méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines in its underground aging cellar at Bernau Estate Vineyard. Located in the Dundee Hills, the winery offers Oregon-inspired hospitality with wine and food pairings, stunning views, educational tours and beautiful gardens to explore. Wines are paired with Willamette Cuisine – dishes grounded in the high-quality agricultural products of the Pacific Northwest.
Bernau Estate Vineyard is certified sustainable through LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) and Salmon-Safe. Additionally, Bernau Estate Vineyard is farmed using biodynamic principles and practices. The site’s original 15 acres of Pinot Noir were planted in 1994 and in 2019 the vineyard crew added an additional nine acres of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The winery itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and breathtaking views. Our server, Autumn, was phenomenal. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made our celebration feel truly special. She guided us through a fantastic tasting, and her passion for the wine was evident. And the wine... just wow. Every tasting was excellent, but the Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine was a true standout for us. It was the perfect celebratory pour! We could not have asked for a better afternoon. We will definitely be back!

We visited back in October and arrived for a reservation (and an empty tasting room). When we arrived the hostess "Monique" was so rude and unaccomodating to our friends who were members, I felt embarassed for them. The reservation was originally for 8, but another person joined - putting us over the "limit" for a table. We expressed that our group could be broken up, etc. We were very flexible with whatever needed to be done. But that's not the issue. It was the tone, the attitude, the dismissal of Monique that honestly flabbergasted the rest of us. My husband and I are members of several wine clubs and have never witnessed someone like her until that day. Truthfully, there are so many exquisite wineries with premium wine that I can't imagine ever visiting Domaine Willamette again. It's too bad that businesses miss the mark with customer service being a key player in the overall experience and value of what they are selling.
