the prices are ridiculous. The sales aren’t really sales. They just make you buy more to get one or two extra items. Today I walked in at 6 AM with my baby in a stroller to do some shopping I needed a handful of items again I have my baby in a stroller and I wanted to grab a basket so I could do some quick shopping. They no longer have baskets at this location. When I asked them for a basket, they said people, steal items and baskets… I need a basket to do my shopping. They said they don’t have any, they recommended I pushed my stroller and a shopping cart lol the high prices and the lack of customer support/service. I will be taking my business to Walmart and other towns for my grocery shopping, Safeway is ridiculous!!!

I had a very frustrating experience at this store today. There were no checkers open, and I had a full cart of groceries, yet the only option was self-checkout. The line for self-checkout was backed up down the aisle, which made the wait even longer. What was especially frustrating was hearing the person in charge ask if they needed to open a checker. In my opinion, there should always be at least one checker open, especially when customers have full carts. Self-checkout is fine for a few items, but customers shouldn’t be expected to scan and bag an entire cart of groceries themselves.

Original review two years ago offered a review on how meat and produce dated a few days to a week out would be bad and rotting within 36 hours of purchase. Today takes the cake. Top of the top tier gaslighting. I had a special request. The normal meat counter guy after asking if they had any frozen beef eye of round, and was told it was fresh only. Disappointed that I couldn't get frozen because it was easier to slice semi frozen meat very thin, I was told by the extremely nice guy on the weekday that is was no problem for them to slice meat very very thin. Ala sukiyaki or hot pot beef. I asked today (apologized to the nice gal at the meat counter for a special request, because I know it's a pain) for some nearly shaved beef. After taking it home I found underneath two pink slices a stack of green beef. It smelled, so of course I returned to cusromer service and got a refund. I was told today that the iron in beef turns it green. After asking the meat counter if they would slice me a new pound of beef, I got the manager called on me. (Nick I believe was very nice and listened attentively to my concerns). I purchased the same muscle whole, and took it home and sliced it. Which was my plan before I believe the nice guy back there named Dave told me it was no problem to slice it that thin, after the other guys working nights on the weekend told me beef turns green from iron, and plot twist, it was pink the whole way through! Imagine my surprise when the guy who was extremely rude to me had A DIP POUCH IN in a food service area, and when asked, touched it with his hands and said it's only nicotine, and then started, after not washing his hands, putting out meat packages. If you enjoy nicotine filled spit touching your food, shop here. If not then hopefully they address the RAMPANT issues in the weekend meat department.
