When we arrived it was our second time in a week, the first time went smoothly with no problem, we got exactly what we ordered and left. (The first time was three special custom drinks and fries.) we came today which would be the second time, when we tried to order we were greeted with attitude, which is understandable to a degree some people have bad days, maybe something is going on, perhaps they are the only person on speaker? So I gave them the benefit of the doubt, placed my order and immediately they got it wrong, I wanted a large drink and they gave me a medium. Again I’m thinking, it’s okay it’s loud they can’t hear me, so I repay myself “sorry I wanted a large____ drink not medium.” It was kept a medium. I then order more, they get everything else right that I can see on the screen, and they heard large for my friends drink so at least they get a large. I then say “oh, I see it says fries I wanted to check to make sure they are the groovy fries please.” To which I get a response full of attitude stating they ONLY have those types of fries, it had been a year before this week since I had sonic as its waaaaaay out of town for me so I wasn’t aware. AND it said try out new groovy fries. I’m a little frustrated at this point, thinking what did I do wrong to get this attitude directed toward me? Fast forward to getting our food the delivery person brings our order and reads it off the receipt stapled to the bag, and reads grape soda. I interrupted him and apologized saying I didn’t order the grape soda, he reads the rest of the receipt and it’s correct, so he mumbles and tries handing me the drink to which I politely refuse and say “no, I’m sorry thy is not my drink I would like my drink it is____” he says oh okay and walks away with everything. Waiting about five minutes he returns, with the SAME DRINK. Again I politely say that isn’t my drink. It was ___. He then mumbled, says the exact drink I ordered as he read the receipt again, I’m assuming he is either new or flustered they sent him out with the wrong drink so he leaves again and again we wait about five minutes or a little less. When he returns he has the drink, halfway correct. At this point it is whatever I just want my food and hopefully others don’t experience this, I am unpacking my meal which was a number ten with honey mustard, I had no honey mustard but BBQ sauce, I then grab the burger and check it has tomato when I asked no tomato, and the other cheese burger which should only have ketchup as it’s for a very picky autistic child. It has everything but pickles. I am very upset and frustrated at this point, I check the receipt and compare it, it states what I had asked which was one burger with no tomato to, and one cheese burger with only ketchup, the number ten said no sauce but add bbq which I didn’t ask for. I am very disappointed in the service and who ever worked the headset, no matter how upset you are please if someone is being nice to you show the same courtesy and if you mess up own up to it and fix it, I’ve worked as a waitress and in fast food for eight years I understand it’s hard, I understand people can be absolutely horrid, but if someone is nice you shouldn’t put your anger or attitude toward them. I won’t be coming back which I’m aware doesn’t hurt the overall sonic company but I hope this location does better.
