  I was checking out at Safeway this afternoon, when I heard the checker in the next station very loudly berating an older gentleman (who was also checking out) about reaching. She went on and on totally embarrassing him judging by the "deer in the headlights" look on his face. I do not know exactly what the problem was, but as the checker was sitting on a chair I'd guess possibly he was trying to be a gentleman by lifting his own bag. Regardless of what the issue was, she went overboard. I was embarrassed for him and ashamed I did not speak up. She could of handled whatever the issue was in a much better manner.

  Wanted to resubmit this review. Safeway still has not reached out. If I could leave a zero star review I would. I came into this location back in November to get my annual flu shot. When I went up to the window I told them I was there for a flu shot. The employee mentioned is pfizer okay. I am not a medical professional, so I said sure whatever you have for a flu shot. The nurse called me back and asked for my name and date of birth. During the whole interaction I was bringing up the flu shot and never once did she confirm what she was giving me. That night my arm was very sore and red. The following morning I woke up with a massive headache, a welt that grew, was warm to the touch, itchy, and sore. Became very sick. Couple days later my doctor saw the welt and told me it was infected. I stopped my the pharmacy and talked to the pharmacist just to confirm it was the flu shot and not the covid vaccine. Sure enough her facial expression said it all. They gave me the covid vaccine!! Which I never wanted! This was a huge mistake that they did! The pharmacist recommended anti itch and Claritin for my reaction. Never once did anyone contact me or tried to make an effort for an apology. I had to reach out to them multiple times. For some reason that wanted to give me $350. Was this hush money?

  As a truck driver, I look forward to clean toilet and hot cup of coffee in the morning. I saw this location has a Starbucks so I walked a couple blocks to this location to find out the Starbucks was no longer in business. When I went to go use their bathroom it was filthy. Looked like a bathroom straight outta Gotthem City.
