  This is the best bbq in bend, the vinegar sauce was amazing along with all the meats being moist and flavorful especially the pork and that’s coming from someone that never gets pork just brisket and ribs. We got the $45 meal and ordered 2 extra sides along with the two it came with to go and didn’t get one of the sides which sucks because it was the beans and that’s my husbands favorite bbq side but we still would go back again, it would be a 5 star review if that wouldn’t of happened because I’m sure they are great along with everything else! The brisket chili, Mac n cheese and elote dip are all great sides just depends what you’re feeling that day.

  Server was pushy regarding recommendations and put own twist on drinks that were not very good. Pork belly, ribs and brisket was very good but the other items such as the pulled pork, Mac and cheese, chicken were mediocre. They were very acidic and tasted almost pickled. They had a very strong vinegar taste. Picked pulled pork. Iykyk.

  Stopped in with my wife for the first time Saturday 1/10/26 because we were driving through. Jackson, the bartender/server, was AWESOME. Friendly, attentive, and really talked up the menu. Just a REALLY good dude. We ordered the Full Boat platter and shared it. Got the cole slaw and Mac as sides and the elote dip as an appetizer. It was ridiculous. My wife, who loves jalapeno sausage, said it was one of the best she’d ever had. Personally, my favorites with the burnt ends and elote dip. If you’re in the area, hit this place up. It’s inside the Cross Eyed Cricket!

You can tell there’s real craft behind it — the kind you only get from someone obsessed with doing BBQ the right way. The brisket is stupid-tender with that perfect smoky bark, the ribs are the ideal mix of juicy and pull-off-the-bone, and the burnt ends should honestly be illegal. Every side hits, portions are generous, and the consistency is unreal — every visit is a home run. Pair all that with the vibe at The Cross-Eyed Cricket and you’ve got the ultimate Bend combo: elite BBQ, cold drinks, and a place that feels like everyone’s welcome the second they walk in. Staff is friendly, service is fast, and the energy is just fun. If you’re in Bend and skip Hattie’s, that’s on you. This is five stars without hesitation — the kind of spot you plan trips around. I’ll be back again and again.

  We popped in for a late lunch. Our server/bartender was Jackson. He was so kind and helpful and the service was amazing! Between 2 couples we had brisket, sausage, pit beans, smoked Mac and cheese, chili, elote dip and banana cream pudding. Food was excellent, brisket was pull-apart tender and the sausage was flavorful. Every side was wonderful and dessert was delish! Drinks were great and priced well. We definitely recommend Hattie’s!
