- TLTiffany Lemmons1 day ago1.0Firstly, I want to say that we've almost always had a good experience at the Emerson location - when we go in to place our order - with some employees being better than others and usually we can make something work even if they are low on ingredients. However the music is always too loud. We went in on April 10th and it was quite busy and loud. I placed my order of a sofritas burrito from the gal at the counter that I didnt recognize, possibly a newer employee - both my boyfriend and I saw/heard her repeat it back. I got white rice and black beans and when it got to adding the meat she looked at me so I repeated "sofritas" she said "we're out" I said "I literally just said thats what I wanted" she said "no" which didn't make any sense to me and then she just looked at me... so I ended up walking out upset that she didnt even try to see if the to-go counter had any if there was any coming up she just said "no" it was bizarre and very upsetting. Even if she misheard me she made no attempt to understand and considering I had gotten the rice and beans it's very hard to think she would think I said anything else. Even worse when I walked out my boyfriend said there was in fact sofritas in the container. I was just so thrown off by her that I didn't even check. With the loud music I've witness a couple walk out before and it can't be conducive to being able to properly hear customers. I hope that the new employees will get better training on customer service and the music kept at a reasonable level especially when busy.
