  I have to say it’s really refreshing to have amazing service! Janelle who I assume maybe a manager was just wonderful to deal with! I appreciated her kindness and gentle nature as a service rep in the food industry. Will be back to this location!

  This had to be the best Swiss Chalet experience yet! The food was absolutely amazing! So flavourful and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere had the perfect balance! Calm and relaxing, but still enjoyable. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. Julia went above and beyond, she was so kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed and truly elevated the entire experience. Absolutely loved it!

  I’ve been a loyal Swiss Chalet customer for a long time and usually have very positive experiences, which is why what happened last night at this location was so disappointing. When we arrived, the hostess kept us waiting for quite a while even though the restaurant was almost empty. We were a group of seven, including four kids. Instead of simply seating us, she walked us around to several different tables and repeatedly told us to wait while she decided where we should sit. The whole interaction felt unnecessary and not very welcoming. This was surprising because other Swiss Chalet locations I visit are usually much more friendly and accommodating, especially with families and children. The food quality itself was good as usual, but the table we were given was sticky and clearly not properly cleaned. When we mentioned it, we were told the table had already been cleaned and the only thing offered was some kids’ activity papers for us to place under our hands, which didn’t really address the issue. Another concern was the washroom. When I went to wash my hands, there was no hand soap available, and the overall cleanliness was not what you would expect in a restaurant. Being able to properly wash your hands in a restaurant should really be a basic standard. I normally tip 15 to 20 percent when I visit Swiss Chalet, but last night I chose not to leave a tip because the overall service experience was disappointing. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks into improving staff training, customer service, and cleanliness standards at this location, because this experience was far below what I’ve come to expect from Swiss Chalet.

  We came to this Swiss Chalet 2 weeks ago and had an amazing time. The restaurant was modern and clean but the best part was our server Shanelle. She had a really positive attitude and was super friendly with all of us and kids. She was awesome!

  Food was amazing as always but our highlight of the night was our server Cassandra. The best service we have had in a while. Her service was quick and accurate. She offered options that we hadn’t thought of yet and checked on us often enough without hovering. Cassandra had such good energy, the short interactions definitely left an impression on us. She deserves all the tips, hard to come across good customer service and with genuine interaction. We’ll ask for her by name next time!
