I am writing to report a negative experience at your Subway location on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:45 AM.
A few friends and I visited the store to use the buy-one-get-one free footlong promotion. We were respectful, waited in line, and did not cause any disruption. However, the service we received was awful.
When my steak sandwich was being prepared, the employee added a noticeably small portion of meat, approximately half of a normal scoop. When I asked about this, I was told I would need to pay an additional six dollars for extra meat, despite the initial portion already being reduced.
When my friend asked which chicken option was spicy, the employee responded with attitude and stated that she was vegetarian, which did not answer the question or assist him in making a selection.
After my sandwich was placed in the oven, the staff prepared four to five other orders before returning to mine, despite my order already being in progress. When I asked about the delay, I was told they would get to it when ready, even though I had been waiting the entire time whilst she prepared other order’s subs.
During the toppings stage, I requested extra peppers and extra lettuce and was told there would be an additional charge for vegetables. In my experience, vegetables have not previously been treated as extra-cost items, and there was no sign indicating such charges which means all she did was give me less for no reason. Sauce portions were skimped out on even after i asks for extra sauce.
Throughout the visit, both the manager and another employee communicated in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. The overall experience reflected poor customer service, reduced portions, and inconsistent policies.
I request that this location’s service practices be reviewed and addressed.
