  Highly recommend East Side Mario’s for a fun, relaxed, and yummy meal with the family!! A special shout out to our server Jaime who we’ve been lucky to have on a few occasions! She is so kind, outgoing, thoughtful, and interactive with our 6 and 4 year olds, and she just goes above and beyond to make you feel doted on by informing us of the little extras! She seems to genuinely enjoy what she’s doing! She always makes us feel a lot more at ease and makes the whole experience way more comfortable as a parent! This is our kids favourite restaurant thanks to you, Jaime! Thank you!!!

  I joined my husband and our friend for lunch today. We came in and sat in the bar area. The girl behind the bar greeted us. I knew my husband enjoyed lunch here but didn’t realize how much until she started suggesting what I now know to be the their usual order. She got our drinks right away and offered me a menu. The bar area filled up very quickly. I personally would’ve been over whelmed. I watched her service the surrounding tables with a big smile. Carry multiple items of food and bread in one go. I was also impressed with the team work. We watched her make drinks for the other waitress and the other waitress bring drinks to the bartenders table while she made drinks for her. Our bartender brought soup and salad refills to my husband and friend without them having to ask. Another reason I could see why he likes to sit at the bar and get serviced by her. My meal took a bit of time to come and I didn’t want the salad or soup that came with my meal. I appreciated that she checked in with me on the status of my food and offered me soup and salad again just incase I changed my mind because I was still waiting on my food. My chicken fingers tasted as expected. The bread was delicious! Overall, I see why my husband comes here, you can tell the staff enjoy working here and care about their job and customers. My husband said he thinks the bartenders name was Jade but I could’ve swore she said Jayda but my husband said Jade! I told him that for someone who cares enough to remember your order the least he could do is know her name! I definitely will be back again to join him on his next visit! Thank you for the great lunch Jade or Jayda!!

  Not a great experience here. There was one or 2 tables when we were sat, waited at least 20 min for 2 kids juices(nothing special or fancy) and a water. It took an hour for my kids food to come, but they brought my food well before there's. I'm obviously not going to sit and eat in front of my young kids so I sat and waited.. and waited.. finally for to eat my lukewarm soup and wilted, overdress salad after 15+ min. My son asked for Parmesan for his pasta and by the time it came, he was finished. My salad had a hair in it and when I sent back my potato soup for a different kind (it was worse than canned soup), the waitress handed me my dirty spoon back that my son had knocked on the floor in front of her. I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but it's lunch for crying out loud. We ordered a depe fried kids meal, noodles with nothing on it and the soup/salad thing they do for lunch. Couldn't have been more straight forward. The only reason it's getting more than one star is because the waitress kindly comped my food, as I couldn't stomach it. Overall a waste of money and almost 2 hours ofour day.

  My family and I have been going to East side Mario's for years. It's our go to family restaurant . The kids always love the endless bread and fun drinks. But After a couple disappointing experiences we took a break last year. We decided to go recently on new year's eve for the kids party 🎉 and it was amazing experience for my family. Jamie (Jayme sorry if spelled wrong) was our server and she was beyond wonderful. As busy as the restaurant was she was on top of everything. She is kind, courteous, & the one of the best waitresses I ever had at any restaurant. The food was hot, fresh and really good. The kids party was well organized, fun and really just impressed with everything they did and had for the kids. 10/10 experience!

  The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and it felt like I was really in Italy but the service and food was under par from what I've had from here previously before when I went here a couple years ago, the food was hundreds of times better and the service was very fast. But this time when I went the service was not only very slow but one of the servers forgot to get our cheese after saying she would get our cheese. We ended up having to call down another waiter to get us our cheese.
