It was my first time trying out DQ ice cream and I swear it will be my last to step foot in there. The shop had a putrid smell as you walk in. I asked the staff if that's the case every time. They replied it's always like this. I had to step out to actually taste the ice cream. Swear to God that's the last time I step foot at the Windsor chain. Overall disappointed and appalled
with the hygiene standards.
We had a wonderful experience at the Dairy Queen in Walkerville! The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the Blizzards were perfectly made—rich, creamy, and delicious. The whole place was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Service was quick and well- organized.
Highly recommend this location for great service, tasty food, and amazing treats!
Most of the 5-star reviews are new accounts with this being their first review on Google. Obviously they’re desperately trying to cover up all the rea,l 1-star reviews… DQ corporate needs to step in and get this location under control. I live 4 minutes away, but I’ll drive the 15 minutes to the Huron Church or Tecumseh location before ever going back here.

Regular DQ customers. Always the same order. 3 Blizzards - 1 large mint Oreo, 1 medium cookie dough, and a large Turtles. The mint Oreo had so little mint Oreos that it was basically vanilla. They changed it, and on the 3rd spoonful what looked like a hair came came out with it. They took it back and changed it for another vanilla.
Instead of a medium cookie dough they gave us a fudge chocolate chip.
The last one, they got right. 1 for 3. Not stellar.
Manager came out and said sorry, that's the way mint Oreos are made, I watched them make it. Didn't even bother to bring up the wrong order.
And I realize it's not DQ's fault that the street entrance to this place is absolutely horrible, but be forewarned - is absolutely horrible.
Like the other reviews day - DO BETTER.

Possibly growing pains, but my main issue with this location would have to be 100% the personal hygiene of the employees. It was unfortunate and unavoidable.
When I entered the location I was assaulted by a thick pungent and assaulting wall of B.O. It was eye wateringly strong, rank, and irrefutably noxious.
I wouldn't normally highlight this, but it absolutely changed the nature of my visit. I was prepared to eat in, but took my purchases and left immediately.
Note to management, you should remind your employees to use deodorant and to shower regularly.
This was very off putting and will colour my choices for future visits to this location.
The food was good we didn't have any of the gastro-intestinal issues noted by other visitors.
