  Donna, Flo and the staff have made our family loyal patrons of Swiss Chalet at Yonge & York Mills. They make a point of greeting us by name and remembering our preferences. Exceptional employees!

  Always a wonderful experience when we have Donna taking care of us. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced but it’s Donna’s amazing service that keeps us coming back. She’s friendly, kind, thoughtful and amazing at her job. She makes a sincere effort to ensure that you have exactly what you need and have an exceptional dining experience. She’s amazing.

  Food is always good and fast at this location. Many regulars are always a good sign, people enjoy coming here. The service is always good. Donna was attentive and kind. Tuesdays promo is a great deal.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When my wife and I walked in, the place was nearly empty, so we chose a table ourselves. Instead of being welcomed, an older waitress approached us and said, “Hey, what are you doing?” in a very rude and unprofessional tone. It felt disrespectful and completely inappropriate for someone in customer service. When I explained that we were simply choosing a seat to order food, she told us we couldn’t sit there and directed us to a different table right beside the kitchen. When I asked why, she claimed she was the only server working, even though I could clearly see other staff present. The explanation didn’t make sense and felt like a poor excuse. Overall, the interaction left a very bad impression. It felt uncomfortable and, frankly, biased in the way we were treated. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and addresses staff behavior and customer service standards. No customer should feel unwelcome or disrespected when they walk into a restaurant.

  Ilda goes out of her way to always welcome us and accommodates the special needs of our two adult children. We love coming to Swiss chalet to see her and get her warm welcome. She knows our children by name and it’s rare to find such kind empathetic and attentive service. Thanks Ilda. See you soon!!!!
