- LHLy HoangJan 1, 20264.0Swiss chalet is a childhood restaurant of mine and I decided to take my kids there for the 2 can dine. Food was as expected. I had an issue there entering the restaurant last Thursday around noon. Their entrance door doesn’t have anything to slow the door down while it’s shutting and as I walked in the door slammed so fast before one of my hands could fully get past the door and the door slammed my hand so hard. There was no one standing at the front when it happened and I tried to look for cameras to see if anyone saw because I was standing there in so much pain I couldn’t even talk. I finally got myself together and told one of the staff but not sure what they did with the information and pain I just endured. My hands were out of commission for some days now. So painful. Imagine a door slamming on your hand and you don’t see it coming;

The space is perfect for a larger function - we had approximately 60 attendees, and the service was fantastic! Thank you very much to Sara, Ilda, Flo & Flora C for making our event run so smoothly and working with our trivia master! We will definitely be back for more fun and classic Canadian fare!
