- DHDavid HaynesMar 12, 20261.0I went into Swiss Chalet to order food for my kids and had a very disturbing experience. First, the employee helping me was extremely rude and aggressive when I asked simple questions about the family deal and the sides. Instead of answering properly, he kept telling me to “look at the picture” when I asked for a menu. While waiting for my order, I started watching how the food was being handled. The cook had gloves on but was touching the chicken, then touching cupboards and other surfaces in the kitchen with the same gloves, and then going right back to handling the food again. That is completely unsanitary. To make matters worse, another cook grabbed fries and started eating them with his bare hands. He wasn’t wearing gloves at all. When I pointed this out and asked for my money back, the manager actually argued with me instead of addressing the situation. I have ordered from Swiss Chalet for years and have never seen such poor hygiene and unprofessional behavior. This was honestly shocking to see, and I will not be returning to this location again.
