  This DQ location in welland is the worst, please avoid visiting it . Worst customer service ever. Looks like it was sold to a franchise and the new owners is hiring untrained employees who can barely speak English, dont understand anything when ordering the food and they mix it up . Not clean . Slow service. They speak different language when you are ordering and feels you are not in canada anymore .

  I'm not sure if there is new owners but this Dairy Queen has gone so down hill. I've came probably once every few months this past year, honestly I don't know why because every time I am disappointed. The blizzards are half melted. The worker only flipped 1 out of the 2, I assume because the other one would plop out of the cup and onto the counter if he tried. The pretzels were horrible. I used to come here just for the pretzels but they were so hard and stale I couldn't even eat them. The cheese sauce was so cold and looked like slime - honestly it looked like bacon grease dried up. I asked the worker to heat it up thinking that would save it, boy was I wrong. She heats it up for maybe 10 seconds, no change in temp or consistency, I ask her to heat it up again and she gets an attitude and tells me "if I heat it up anymore it will burn" I say to her "ok well I can't dip the pretzel in this. Nothing is sticking" she heats it up again, little better I guess I wish I could attach a video of the sauce but it only allows photos. I honestly couldn't even finish anything I got because it was so gross. I was so turned off by the hardness and staleness of the pretzels, the cheese sauce couldn't even save it. Not to mention the prices are insane. 2 medium blizzard and 2 pretzels for $31??! I'm sorry but this is one place I will never go back to. I loved Dairy Queen but over the last year the quality really fell off, and the workers don't even seem to care they are serving such poor quality items. It's a shame honestly.

  I ordered a custom cake (online)and they didn't follow orders and it was ugly, so I asked them to make a new one the way its supposed to be and still the managed to mess the design up, not only that the cake was flat, and not made properly! . Not to mention when I got to the location to The place is disgusting there are flies EVERYWHERE! . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AT ALL! . I've been ordering cakes for the past 15 years and ive never had such an awful experience. I only ordered here because this location is what was close to the house I was at at the time for the party . NEVER AGAIN! . 0 STARS!!

  We order a cake last night for the World Series game. We ordered it with something written on it. When it came to the door there was no writing on it. Also it was smeared. We called and she said the driver must have tipped it. But there was no icing on the cover. And she didn’t care that there was no writing on it. We have ordered from there several times and have been very disappointed, but after that mess of a cake they will not get another chance to disappoint.
