    We visited for a Valentine’s Day dinner, and overall it was a lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for the occasion, and the food was absolutely delicious. I did order a drink that was a bit disappointing—it tasted somewhat diluted from the ice. I considered deducting a point because of that, but the quality of the food more than made up for it. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return.

    Despite extremely busy service was good. Can't beat the BangBang shrimp(Amazing) Well worth the drive to get there. Food including desert was Great.( Bread Pudding) .

    I grew up going to the State & Main in guelph and it definitely became a staple. I hadn’t been to a location up until last year and then recently asked if we could go for my birthday dinner. This location has amazing service and both times that we’ve been have felt really intimate. You can never go wrong with the food at State & Main. We ordered the pretzel bites, which have always been a favourite of mine, their side Caesar salad salad which was a great price for the amount that you got and super delicious, I got the mac & cheese appetizer as my main, which is full of so much flavour, and my fiancé got a sirloin steak which he really enjoyed. Both times we have been here we’ve gotten their big six person booth which has been so fun ! Mercedes was our server during our most recent visit and was lovely. Will continue to reccomend as this place just always hits the spot !

    Our first time visiting State and Main, nothing short of perfect!! Being in the business for 40 years, we were pleasantly surprised with everything.The margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had, definitely a scratch drink, balance was perfect. 1/2 price wings on Wednesday's. Great appetizer. Then two Empire State ( 10oz steaks, mushrooms salad and switched up veg for sweet potato fries) steak cooked perfectly. Mercedes was Our server and was informative, attentive (at exactly, the right time) and very professional. She is definitely someone I would hire and an asset to the business. (Even put up with my husbands awful jokes! lol) When back in the area we will definitely be back. Great job to front of house and back.
