- RRRiley RussellMar 21, 20264.0The staff here are always courteous and I appreciate that. Lately the patties have shrunk so although they are tasty, the burgers are smaller than a Burger King. I was at this location Saturday March 21st around 9:30, while I was waiting for my burger I observed something that caused me great concern and management needs to address this matter immediately because this is not a safe practice. Staff were cleaning and two of them were advised by who I assume is a supervisor to pull the grill away from the stainless steel backsplash so they could clean it. The problem is, there were patties sitting on the grill, including mine. I panicked and became nervous as I watched the two young staff spray the cleaning chemical in the backsplash. Spray gives off a lot of mist and small droplets and we are talking chemicals that should not be used around food. The grill was not far enough away from the backsplash and I wanted to say something but I was tongue tied, I had never seen such a practice. This sort of cleaning should happen when the restaurant has closed it's doors for the evening and all opened foods are covered and secured. I really didn't want my burger anymore after witnessing this but I was afraid to speak up so I took it and left. This what I witnessed is contrary to the food handling guidelines. Staff should not be spritzing chemicals around open food. I sincerely hope that the management will address this matter with urgency.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries.
