- SYSandra Y1 day ago5.0Yaron, and his staff that he was with tonight was awesome But i really would like to say Yaron was really there for the party that he helped out Really paid attention to the orders and how everyone wanted, who wanted it and was on point with making sure it was done correctly and at a timely matter, Yaron was AWESOME!! OUTSTANDING and went above and beyond. Thank you so much for being our server tonight and I really hope I can come back and have you as a server. You did a fantastic job keep it up. 🎉 The food was so delicious I finished it fast after taking my time in the beginning to appreciate the quality and flavors of the steak, I got it medium well done, the salad was delicious, the cinnamon bun bread pudding was to die for!!! Omg what a delicious dessert 100/100 this place was very delicious definitely coming back

She was very personable and friendly and ensured we were well taken care of; thank you for making it a great visit! I have many S+M favourites, but decided to try to the *NEW* Chili Sesame Ramen bowl - the portion size was perfect, VERY delicious and perfect for this cooler weather...will definitely order it again!!

However, the service we received on Sunday evening was profoundly disappointing. After a 15-minute wait to even be acknowledged, our waitress provided rude and inattentive service, which led to a mistake in our order. What was most frustrating was the manager's refusal to speak with us despite two requests. A gesture of free coffee and dessert could not salvage this experience of extremely poor service.
- SGS GNov 15, 20251.0November 15th @2pm We didn’t even get to the part where we had a chance to eat because the server decided to recklessly misplace a cup of coffee directly on the edge of the table where my sister was seated. Her legs were soaked in coffee as well as her jacket. Poorly trained staff she is very lucky we had requested for the latte to be iced instead of hot. It’s horrifying to imagine how terribly painful and damaging this could’ve been if it wasn’t an iced drink. Clearly management had not effectively trained this employee to handle food and beverages in a responsible and careful manner. Shame of this establishment and the three employees who were handling the collateral of this situation by running to clean the floors and benches with no regard to the priority of assisting the customer affected. Not a single person was equipped in communicating the severity; rather they went about it by uttering no words and focusing on cleaning their establishment with 0 regard to the person who was impacted… drenched in coffee at the fault of an employee. 0 sincerity. SHAME ON THEM.
- IIIliaNov 12, 20255.0Emmanuela is a superstar at an amazing restaurant. State And Main Vaughan clearly knows how to hire good staff. Drinks, food, service... Everything was 5/5. We are in the industry too so we know what we're talking about and we also have high expectations. We were celebrating our anniversary and Emmanuela made sure to make it extra special. Left with a good taste in our mouths and will be coming back to this specific location.
