Tatiana, our waitress, was excellent. She's helpful with menu suggestions, listens carefully, and is prompt in delivering drinks and food with a smile. I chose a dish that she approved and my wife chose a more traditional Swiss Chalet menu choice (The 1/4 chicken). My choice was a new dish (Chicken Teriyaki) that is being tried out in several different Swiss Chalet stores and was really excellent. I would suggest that possibly there was too much food which is all delicious. I normally attend the Swiss Chalet on Yonge just north of St. Clair and I will ask for that option there.

Swiss chalet has been a restaurant I've regularly visited since I was a kid. The service is good for this restaurant, but the food takes a while to get. The atmosphere is good, and lot better than other fast food places like McDonald's. The drinks taste good and the food is also good. The only reason this is not a 5 is because the quality of the food has gotten worse over the years and there are lots of smokers outside. I would recommend to come here and eat with your family or a big group.

I’ve been coming to Swiss Chalet for everything from casual weeknight dinners to birthdays and even the odd anniversary, and it always delivers exactly what you expect (in a good way).
It’s simple, reliable, and easy on the wallet. The menu isn’t trying to reinvent anything, but that’s kind of the point. You know you’re getting consistent food, generous portions, and that classic chalet sauce that somehow never gets old.

This restaurant was my place to go as many are going down hill lately.
Service wasn't the greatest food a lot to desire and waitress not the nicest person. We were treated to lunch from my husbands sister and brother in law visiting here from Portugal and wanted to pay for lunch being they staying with us for 2 weeks. First Portugal doesn't not have this nonsense of tipping culture, second of all we spent 98dol for 4 people because we also got wine. When she put 105 dol on the table and got the dirtiest look from the waitress and she then was talking to I'm assuming the manager talking about us as they both looked our way very rude, tippingis is not a obligation and no wonder the restaurant was empty. Clean it better because it's far from what it use to be last time at your business. Train your staff to be grateful I worked all my life and never got tipped.

This is the best Swiss Chalet location in Toronto. Hands down, no contest.
Food quality is excellent and extremely consistent. Consider the salads: I've never had a bad House Garden Salad here, and the Caesar Salad will give other chains and even some upmarket restos a run for their money. Fries are terrific and chicken is good - it's what you'd expect from a Swiss Chalet!
What's especially worth mentioning here are the staff: they are all pleasant, caring and interested in you. Everyone is an absolute gem of a human being. They are all just so nice.
Gets busy on Wednesdays (kids promo, IYKYK) but they turn the tables around quickly.
