  On this day, February 25, 2026, after eight years of not going to Sick Kids, I had the worst experience of my life. My child had a follow-up, after the appointment we went to get something to eat, my daughter had fasted for 12hrs and was very hungry, we went to subway to grab a bite but today, both my child and I were terrified and frightened by the behaviour I received from Subway. I'll wrap up my experience in a future review, but for now, I've noticed that over the previous few months, if not years, there have been negative reviews and complaints, and Patient Relations and Retail management have done nothing to address this man and a female employee who provided terrible service today. Please understand that I now know from my research that the manager or supervisor of this dreadful subway is in fact this man; hence the reason he is still working there. I was told to contact a lawyer because I'm so concerned about my safety and the safety of my child, who is a patient of Sick Kids. Additionally, I was told that anyone who came into contact with this man should also get in touch with a lawyer. He is a habitual consumer abuser, and I'm horrified that Sick Kids and Subway still employ him. The photos posted is the same employee from other complaints, this is out of hand now.

  Went to ask for a cup of water and even offered to pay for the cup, but the employee said they weren’t allowed and that we had to buy bottled water instead. I understand rent inside a hospital is expensive, but someone’s thirst shouldn’t be an opportunity to make a profit.

  Extremely poor customer service. This location is advertised as closing at 11:00 PM. I arrived at 10:45 PM, with three customers ahead of me. The man in the photos said I would not be served because he was closing soon. When I specifically asked for the manager’s contact information, he explicitly stated that he does not have it. This is completely unacceptable. An employee refusing service during business hours should absolutely be able to provide management contact details or direct a customer on how to escalate a concern. After reading other reviews, it is clear this individual has received multiple complaints for similar behavior. There are far too many qualified and professional people in customer service for customers to be treated with this level of unprofessionalism. I will be doing everything in my power to bring this issue to management’s attention so they are aware of what is happening at this location.

  Standard subway fare. Tasted good and the staff we dealt with were fine. Issues are they do not accept coupons here and do not participate in some subway app offers. For instance, the buy one 12 inch sub, get the second 50% off will work just fine. But the buy one 12 inch sub, get the 2nd free offer will not be allowed at this location only. The app will say 'Sorry this restaurant is not participating in this offer' The same offer will be accepted at every other subway location, including every other subway in the area. Including the one next door in Toronto General. How are they the only one allowed to not honour this offer? We did the 50% off offer here, but walked over to the Bay St subway to get the buy one get one free. 3 minute walk to save $12, totally worth it.
