  Morton’s Yorkville really delivers when you’re craving a proper classic steakhouse experience. There honestly isn’t much nearby that captures that traditional, upscale vibe, so this place fills that gap perfectly. The steaks are exactly what you expect, cooked right, great flavor, and consistent. The sides, service, and overall atmosphere all feel polished without being over the top. One slightly odd thing was the number of Uber Eats drivers coming in and out. It felt a bit out of place for a higher-end dining spot, but it didn’t take away from the meal itself. Overall, if you’re in Yorkville and want that true steakhouse feel, this place absolutely hits the spot.

  Overall 3.5, food is 4 and both service and atmosphere is a 3.5. I expected more for the money spent. I have been there 3 times over a 10 year span and it seems to be getting worse rather than better. There are better steakhouses in the city in this category.

  Had a relatively good experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse. The food quality was solid, especially the steak, and the atmosphere was nice. Service was decent overall. A good option if you’re looking for a classic steakhouse experience.

  Mortons of Chicago The ambiance, service & food is still the best Number One. This restaurant reminds me of the steakhouses of the passed. We'll dressed servers knowledgeable & tentative. Food delicious & presentation exquisite. Excellent deserts, recommend the chocolate lava cake as its made in house from scratch, be patient takes about 15-20min worth the wait. I have been coming here for over 25yrs.

  Expected more from Morton's Needless to say, it was quite a disappointment on our steak club's first visit to Morton's. While our server was competent, friendly and knowledgeable, the overall table service fell well below expectations. For example, when our steaks were ready, the person who brought them to the table needed to make an abrupt U-Turn because the salad plates and cocktail glasses hadn't been cleared. The salad plates sat for at least 20 minutes (probably longer), the cocktail glasses, at least an hour sitting empty (while we drank wine). This level of service isn't something one would expect in a steakhouse of this alleged caliber. As for the steaks themselves, I'm not sure if any of the 5 of us actually received their steak cooked to their order. Most were much rarer than ordered. Sure, we could have sent them all back - but that's hardly the point. 4 of 5 steaks missed the mark - suggests someone in the kitchen needs a bit of a refresher. The sides were very tasty, but I will say, there wasn't a morsel left on the table when we were done, no bread, not a scrap in the 3 side-order plates. You tell me, did we order well, or not? I would suggest the server might have told us just how small those side orders were going to be. Barely enough broccolini for each of us to even have a taste. Again, just average service, and would have expected more. NOT Recommended
