  It was great coming in here on a sunny Saturday! The staff was inviting and friendly, and Israt was super helpful with the menu! Ordered the Galaxy Smoothie! :)

  I like fresh when I come with my vegetarian girlfriend , lots of good options that traditionally aren’t good for non vegans etc. can’t wait to try their shakes after my workout

  Today I visited Fresh on Danforth and was served by Anika, and I felt compelled to share my experience. I had not eaten inside this restaurant since February 14th. On that day, my server Bonnie and surrounding dining patrons were heavily scented, which forced me to quickly pack up my food, pay, and leave in tears. Since then, I have avoided eating inside because of that experience. Even the thought of dining here again provoked anxiety based on that repeated experience. It’s important to mention early on that fragrance exposure can affect my ability to breathe, and I think we can all agree that anything that interferes with breathing can provoke panic in anyone. This is why dining in public spaces has been so stressful for me. It was only today that I returned, and that was by chance, as the original place I planned to go was closed. I was already feeling anxious walking in, unsure of what to expect. Anika ended up being my server, and I was relieved to notice that she was not wearing perfume. Her presence and attentive service left me feeling at ease, a tremendous gift for someone like me who is usually anxious about fragrance exposure in public spaces. I was so grateful that I naturally gave her a very generous tip, feeling that every penny was deserved. It still took me some time to settle in. I don’t typically eat out or spend much time in public spaces because fragrance exposure affects my ability to breathe and feel safe. That underlying anxiety does not just disappear. While I was eating, I noticed Bonnie come out onto the patio area. Almost immediately, I felt my body tense up, worried about potential exposure if she came close. I want to be clear that this is not about throwing Bonnie under the bus. My point is about awareness and how sensitive fragrance exposure can be in real time. For someone like me, scent-free service is not a preference. It is the difference between being able to stay and enjoy a meal in peace or having to leave. Anika made it possible for me to sit, eat, and feel a sense of ease that is very rare for me. I am extremely grateful for that. If I could give her a 10 out of 5, I would. I hope more awareness is brought to this, because experiences like today show how much of a difference it makes. To be clear, I am not the only person affected by this condition. Approximately 1.13 million Canadians are affected by fragrance sensitivity.

  Had a wonderful experience at Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar! The staff, especially Isabel, were incredibly friendly and kind. They went above and beyond with their customer service—you could tell they genuinely care about making sure each customer feels valued. Highly recommend!
