  We live in the US, so haven't had SC in over 10 years when they closed all of them in the US so we were excited to eat here visiting the GTA for the day. Food was amazing as always, but we sat there for over 20 minutes before I had to ask a manager who was thrown in to wait the table behind us if we were going to get anyone to take our order. Owed food and drinks and it came out fairly fast and perfect. But then, we were done with our food and say for another 20-30 minutes before I could flag down our waiter to get our bill. So my son never got his dessert donuts, so we asked to take it to go, and he said he could give him M&Ms to go, which he doesn't even like, but we were already there for 1.5 hours for the 3 of us, so we took the Halloween candy sized treat and left. No apologies were made on the length of time, nor an explosion as to the slap on the face of a dessert we got for his kids meal we paid full price on.

  There was a line up when we arrived. We were greeted and name taken and advised 30 minute wait. The hostess was also clearing and helping, which is noted. We waited 15 minutes, full house but we were greeted and gave our entire order. Our waitress was efficient and professional. The person who delivered our food thorough. Despite how busy they were food was well presented and hot. We had just left the Swiss Chalet on Dufferin Street wedges we weren't greeted promptly and when he walked over he told his to sit and wait as they were cleaning but I could see set tables and no one clearing. Bad beginning... so we didn't take a chance. So thankful we went to stockyards location.

  Every single time we order from this location, regardless whether it’s delivery or take out, items are missed. Every time. When you call to have the issue rectified, the solution is always “we’ll credit $5 on your next order” from the initial call. When you ask for a refund for difference, they want you to speak to the location directly. In that this has happened at least six times, it’s astounding to me that the answer is for the customer to have multiple conversations with customer service/the location, etc. Why is this on the consumer to waste their time? Every time?!

  Ms. HALINA...what can I say? HALINA is the most wonderful waitress I have ever met! She has become like family to me and is incredible with the patrons of the restaurant as well as when I come in whether by myself or with my family. HALINA is always so friendly, smiling, and always accommodating when it comes to how I like a favorite dish prepared. I have been coming to this location just to see HALINA and of course, to enjoy a delish meal. Please, be sure to visit this location, and ask to be seated in HALINA'S section and trust me, she will not disappoint with her incredible service and that million dollar smile!

  We had such a great experience at Swiss Chalet thanks to our amazing server, Adrianna! She was polite, kind, and attentive from the moment we sat down. Adrianna made sure everything came out perfectly and checked in often without ever making us feel rushed. Her warm smile and friendly personality truly added to our meal. It’s refreshing to meet someone who clearly cares about providing great service. Thank you, Adrianna, for making our dinner so enjoyable. We will definitely be asking for you next time!
