I placed an online order for two steak and cheese subs and specifically requested gravy as the sauce.
When we arrived to pick up our order, we were waiting behind another gentleman when the employee handed him our sandwiches. He immediately said he didn’t order two steak and cheese subs, and we clarified that they were ours. After that, we stepped aside briefly (about 30 seconds to a minute) to discuss something. Only then did the employee inform us that they were out of gravy and that she had substituted garlic sauce on one of the subs instead. If we had instantly left, I would’ve only discovered the change in sauce once I got home.
I was genuinely surprised that a different sauce had been chosen for me without any attempt to contact me or wait until I arrived to ask what I would prefer. It would have made much more sense to either leave the sandwich without sauce and offer options upon pickup, or at the very least inform me before preparing it. Instead, the decision was made for me.
When I explained that I don’t like garlic sauce, she seemed irritated and said she could “take the sauce off.” I asked how that would be possible without removing ingredients from the sandwich. I reiterated that I would have appreciated being asked about a substitute rather than having one chosen for me, and I requested that a new sandwich be made. She was hesitant, and at no point during the interaction did she apologize for the mistake or the lack of communication.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily uncomfortable. Communicayion and apology would have gone a long way.

I come here all the time. I sometimes ask to put the two halfs of the sub into two different wraps. I asked and this lady said we don't do that. I've gotten it done so many times before. When I told her this, she got rude and said "are you paying for two different wraps. These use two different papers". And it was in a very rude tone. She kept going saying other customers ask this too and ignored that I've had it done before. What a weird experience and person. No subway i've been to ever in my hundreds of times has ever denied this request. It was this short lady with glasses.
To top it off she didn't give me any napkins, when I asked she gave a couple. I asked for more and got some attitude for that "see you get what you want".

I visited Subway this Sunday and had a really great experience. The girl who served me was very professional, friendly, and provided excellent customer service. She was patient while taking my order and made sure everything was prepared perfectly.
I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki sub, and it was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I like it. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
