    I just came from one of the worst experiences of my life in a retail setting. The app I used to order food at a Subway sandwich shop said my order was supposed to be ready around 12:55. I was there around that time. It was busy and several customers ahead of me at the pick up area had asked about the status of their orders. An Asian lady came and grabbed an order off the counter in the next 5 minutes without even apparently checking the name. At 1:03 pm, I asked about the status of my order, saying that it was 7 minutes late. I used a calm voice. The man working behind the counter immediately started yelling at me saying my order was only 2 minutes late, that that was the time on the receipt was 1 pm and that "the nice family second in line" was before me. Didn't I realize that they were busy and there were only two people work the counter. I told him I coud see that and I had not been yelling at him and asked why was he yelling at me. He then dismissively said that I was getting in the way of the other customers being served and then turned away like it was appropriate to ignore me after that tongue lashing. He then called me by my full name in front of the other customers, which I found absolutely embarrassing. I then asked him "Are you trying to embarrass me by yelling at me and shouting out my name? I think you should apologize. He then said something dismissive like "No, I am not" and then smirked as if he did not mean it. " I said "Your apology is clearly not sincere" He then smirked again. The hostile man behind the counter refused to give his name when I asked.

    Extremely disappointed with this Subway location—it’s the worst I’ve experienced. I placed a web order for pickup and specifically selected extra lettuce and extra tomatoes. When I picked it up, the sandwich had only a tiny handful of lettuce and just a few thin tomato slices—nowhere near “extra,” and barely standard portions. It was so skimpy that the sandwich looked completely flat, basically like a flatbread with almost no filling at all. There were also no napkins included in the bag. This appears to be a recurring issue, especially with the staff member who works Saturday nights—they’re noticeably stingy with toppings, making the sandwich feel overpriced and disappointing. I’ve ordered from many other Subway locations (both in-person and online) and have never had extra requests ignored or received such minimal, flat-looking portions. Quality and respect for online orders should be consistent. I won’t be returning to this store.
