Amazing experience absolutely blew me away after dining here with family. This oasis tucked into Yorkdale manages to be the biggest one-of-a kind hidden gem in the mall… Having been to Toronto’s 1 and 2 Star Michelin restaurants I had to say the level of experience provided here would have me not surprised if they were on this list. Vicky was at our service and personalized the whole experience, I could tell she treated each guest with a unique approach tailored to their feelings and needs. Not to mention thrilled to share the top dishes from the menu and what she loves here, like to a friend. A natural at holding open and enjoyable conversation and you can tell she knows a great deal about the restaurant inside out. The food here was impeccable and impressive, I could not find an outstanding complaint to any dish. I asked the king salmon to be well done instead of medium rare, as salmon is a fish I prefer fully cooked. Kitchen has executed this perfectly and mot overdone it in any way. The ribeye was tender is it should and seasoned properly served with high quality salt flakes. The shrimp was what you want- big, juicy sweet and smoky with huge amounts of flavour and zest. Sweet potato fries were an absolute hit and worth it compared to the other sides. Big vase full with garlic dip on the side. Excellent for sharing as a mood boosting finger food. But let’s talk about the interior! It’s connected to a showroom store housing furniture, design concepts, and home decor items. This part is at a showy and luxurious level fitting to the dining experience. So many floors up I couldn’t count. Next time I will check out the terrace on the roof as well. Before I came to this spectacle of Yorkdale, I felt I only experienced half the mall! I feel like those who know come here. Don’t get dazed by the glamour. It’s definitely a no brainer to check it out on a special occasion at Yorkdale and if you don’t, you’re missing out. I hope they keep it up. 99/100 must try.

Never thought the food at RH would be great as it looks like a gallery focused cafe, but the visit on Dec 27 proved me wrong. The menu doesn’t have a lot of choices and price is at the high end, any starter would cost $30. So we ordered fresh burrata, RH burger, broiled king salmon and sweet potato as side. To our surprise, everything was delicious, especially the king salmon, so tender, flavorful and huge. The volume of sweet potato is big and very yummy to go with their mayo source. The burrata comes with yummy cheese, although not listed on the menu. The burger is also juicy and yummy, just wished they could use better buns. The service is ok, not great, our server never followed up on us, the interior deco is unbeatable, so elegant and lively with all the trees and chandeliers. Will visit again when we visit Yorkdale. It seems they close early at 7pm for dinner, so check the hours before you go.

This location is in York dale Mall at the ground/mall level of the restauration hardware store. The cafe/restaurant has 2 section to the right and left of the store entrance. Seating are very comfortable with proper distance between tables. Cafe service is great with additional food and fares menu. A very relaxed atmosphere in settings that were designed to exhumed understated elegance. The premium prices are certainly worth it compared with the other Cafes option of the mall. Everything that we had (see attached photos) was great, fresh and recommended...

I had the ribeye and, honestly, it was disappointing. For $88 for a 14-ounce steak, I expect to see meat on the plate—not an excessive amount of fat. The French fries were also underwhelming and tasted frozen, nothing special come on you can do better. That said, the atmosphere is a solid 10/10, and the service was fabulous—truly top-tier. Our total bill came to almost $184 for 2 the table, and despite that, I still left hungry. Would I go back? Yes, for a drink or to show off, But not if I’m hungry, and I definitely wouldn’t order the ribeye again.

I am deeply disappointed with the way my family and I were treated at RH Courtyard Yorkdale. As we browsed upstairs, we went to use the washroom. At the time, there were no ropes, barriers, or any indication that the area was restricted. Despite this, a staff member named Sebastian made a very public scene, aggressively asking “who let you upstairs,” in a tone that was embarrassing, confrontational, and completely inappropriate. What makes this even more unacceptable is that my family has previously purchased multiple furniture pieces from this location, and in the past we have regularly dined at the restaurant and browsed the gallery without issue. On earlier visits, restaurant staff themselves offered to bring tea to the furniture gallery area for us — so clearly this has never been treated as a problem before. Instead of calmly clarifying or apologizing for any misunderstanding, this employee chose to escalate the situation and speak to us in a way that felt disrespectful and humiliating. This is not how a luxury brand should treat paying customers, especially repeat ones. Because of this experience, my family will not be returning. RH positions itself as a premium experience — unfortunately, the behavior of its staff at this location does not reflect that standard at all.
