Came here with a friend to get dinner just before catching a movie next door at Cineplex.
The host was friendly upon us walking in and sat us down at a booth seat if our choosing. The restaurant itself is very large, with lots of different seating options available.
Once sat, we ordered the classic burger and the English style fish & chips. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were excellent!
Throughout our time there, the server was friendly and checked in on us occasionally to see if we needed anything else.
Overall it was a great experience with good food and a warm atmosphere, so we would definitely come eat here again!

Ordered steak and lobster. So disappointing. Littlest amount of lobster that taste fake and the steak was horrible. So tough and just could not eat it. I didn’t want to complain so we went on with our night. But truly disappointing especially this restaurant specifically this location was a staple in my childhood.

We’re celebrating our 10th year wedding anniversary and went to this restaurant for the first time —it did not disappoint! We had a great experience here! The service was outstanding — our server, Eugene, truly made us feel special by surprising us with a celebratory slice of cake, beautifully plated with a “Happy Anniversary” message. We really appreciated that thoughtful gesture!
The food was delicious and the ambiance was warm and inviting. All our the food and drinks that we ordered were amazing!
Thank you for making our anniversary celebration so memorable. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️❤️❤️

Truly terrible experience. My group, with guests from out of town, was seated (after a lengthy wait) and then completely ignored for nearly a half hour without so much as a hello or glass of water. We put our coats on and left and not a single staff member noticed or cared. I was humiliated for bringing my friends. I will NEVER return. Worst dining experience of my ENTIRE LIFE. Shame on this so-called business. Zero stars.

Server did not understand the menu. Server did not bring water until asked for a second time after we waited a good 15-20 minutes. Smoked meat sandwich came with toasted bread which I did not eat. Toasted bread? Was the bread frozen or stale that you had to toast it? When the kitchen does not know how to make a deli sandwich you know you are in trouble. My friends Greek salad was a lot of wet lettuce. Horrible. My fries tasted like they had been in a freezer for months. If they ever were potatoes you could not have told. They tasted like cardboard.
Another server who was been there at least 30 years was yelling out loud disturbing diners. And clearing tables by crashing dishes into the bin. I finally got up and quietly asked her to stop throwing dishes and cutlery loudly into the bins. Her reply which should have been oh I’m sorry was I AM NOT.
What a miserable lunch experience. .
