The art of wasting opportunities.
The place is located in very good mall but for some reason it’s always understaffed, late service, and less than average food.
It could have benefited from customer spillage from more popular restaurants in the mall, but every time I visit there’s no receptionist available, today we waited about 15 minutes for someone to meet and seat us. Waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our order, and another 20 minutes to get our food and drinks.
This place has a great potential but seems its management has other plans.
There’s nothing grand in their “Grand Breakfast” other than in the name.
Affordable prices, basic food, slow service.

Would give zero stars if possible. First was sat at a table that was disgustingly dirty. I asked to be moved. Only to be moved to the very back of the restaurant. I ordered calamari and it came to the first table I was sat at and the server assured me he would bring me a fresh one. When the “fresh one” came it was so soggy and cold almost like ice. I asked them to remove it from my bill. Next when my entree came of chicken Parmesan it was cold and tasted frozen. This was the worse service I have ever had. I was disrespected by being brought food that was suppose to be “fresh”. There’s so many fruit flies flying around my food. Horrible experience. Also had to stand up to alert the server only to wait another 30 mins just to receive my bill. I will never come back here.

Waited ~15min to get our names because nobody was at the front. Got seated and ordered.
Food took a bit longer than expected. Appetizers were good and came out hot. Mains were not hot like Appetizers and did not have the best appeal, got a burger that was somehow greasy and extremely dry at the same time. Chicken breast from another meal was also extremely dry.
Waitress seemed like they did not want to be there and had little to no interaction and only checked up on the meals when we finished.
Debit machine had an amount that didn't match the receipt and thankfully I called it out and flagged it.
Note on general wait times before and while being seated. The store was less than 30% full and the waiting felt like a restaurant at 100% occupancy. Completely unacceptable.

Do not waste your time or money here. Attended for a birthday today. From the time you take a seat the staff is not looking to serve you and is looking away at all times. Was told a table would be 20 minutes so we could have a seat at the bar. Could not get service at the bar for 30.minutes. After which they never called us for our table. When we asked why they said it was not fair to other patrons coming in. So why did you ask us to sit at the bar until a table was available? Please keep in mind restaurant was at approximately 25% capacity. Finally got a table after an hour and a half and our orders were wrong. Cutlery was dirty, waitress didn't seem to care. We we served by the bartender who came around once an hour and was clearly not interested in being there. I would hope no one has to suffer a birthday here again. Will not be returning.

Yesterday evening, my family and I chose to dine at Pickle Barrel after learning that the wait time at The Cheesecake Factory was approximately three hours. Given these circumstances, Pickle Barrel appeared to be the most practical alternative. We arrived at 6:45 pm and noted that the restaurant was nearly vacant, with only about ten tables occupied.
Despite the limited number of patrons, our experience was regrettably unsatisfactory. After being seated, we waited for more than ten minutes before a member of the serving staff greeted us. Having already decided upon our selections, we placed our orders and requested water. It required an additional ten minutes for the water to be delivered. During this interval, my wife noticed that my fork was inadequately cleaned and requested a replacement.
Given the sparse occupancy, I anticipated that our meals would be served promptly. Contrary to expectations, we waited over fifteen minutes before our food was brought to the table. Rather than refilling our glasses with a jug, the server provided extra glasses of water. Unfortunately, my wife observed that my glass was unclean and bore food stains, which was particularly disconcerting.
In summary, the lack of attention to cleanliness and the slow service resulted in a disappointing dining experience. By contrast, The Cheesecake Factory, despite its lengthy wait times, has consistently demonstrated superior service, that is proven by the wait time. In light of the competitive nature of the current economic environment, I sincerely hope that Pickle Barrel will take steps to enhance its operational standards.
While Pickle Barrel offered convenience in terms of availability, the overall experience was marred by poor service and inadequate cleanliness. Improvements in these areas are essential if the restaurant is to remain competitive and provide a satisfactory experience for its guests.
