This KFC Dufferin Mall location seriously needs attention from management.
First impression: messy and poorly maintained. The store looks worn down, broken in places, and generally neglected. Tables, counters, and the overall layout give off a very unprofessional vibe, especially for a major brand like KFC.
The atmosphere didn’t help either. Staff were playing loud Indian music, which in itself isn’t the issue — but it didn’t feel appropriate for a customer-facing fast-food environment. It made the whole place feel chaotic rather than welcoming or professional.
🍔 Food quality: inconsistent
• The sandwich had way too much sauce, to the point where it overpowered everything else and made it messy to eat
• Fries were soggy and cold, which is basic fast-food 101
• Hygiene felt questionable, especially given the overall condition of the store
Nothing tasted terrible, but nothing felt done with care either.
🧑🍳 Service: not bad, but presentation matters
To be fair, the staff themselves were okay — no major attitude issues, and service wasn’t rude. But how things were handed over, how the space was managed, and how food was presented all felt rushed and sloppy.
It’s one of those places where you feel the employees are just trying to get through the shift, and no one is actually managing the store.
📉 Bigger issue: lack of oversight
This location really feels like it needs:
• Better store management
• Someone checking in regularly
• Basic standards enforced (cleanliness, music volume, food presentation)
A brand like KFC shouldn’t look or feel like this.

Pin the store location correctly in Uber. I had to walk all the way to the food court area only to find that the actual store is outside the mall for delivery pickup. You guys waste our time and money.
