I love fast food, but I eat it very rarely — so when I do, I try to make every meal feel special.
I’ve been to several countries, and I can confidently say that McDonald’s in Canada is behind European ones in many ways. That’s why, when it comes to fast food, I usually choose Burger King.
Of course, not every location in the city is great, but I always check on Yoonge Street before going. Compared to other places, this Burger King makes excellent cheese sticks — they’re stretchy and delicious — as well as tasty, crispy nuggets at very affordable prices. Their burgers are flavorful, and I love that you can choose onion rings instead of fries in the combo meals.
The only downside is the cleanliness — it’s about average for most fast food restaurants in the city, but it could definitely be better. The atmosphere isn’t very cozy, so it’s not really a place where I’d want to sit and relax.
Would I go back? Yes, definitely. I wouldn’t visit too often, but between McDonald’s and Burger King — I’d choose Burger King any day.
Pros: Fresh and tasty food, friendly staff, convenient location.
Cons: Unpleasant interior atmosphere, could be cleaner.
