  The guacamole is spoiled and has a fizzy taste and now I cant even finish the meal I paid 35$ for or else Ill get food poisoning. Very very disappointing this is usually my go to if I want takeout but I’m going to stop ordering from here for good.

  A Serious Food Safety Incident and a Customer Care Team That Simply Does Not Care On March 13, 2026, my experience at the Chipotle location at 121 Bloor Street East, Toronto was not just disappointing it was a genuine food safety concern that I feel obligated to share publicly so other customers can make an informed decision before dining here. What We Witnessed While waiting for our order, we directly observed an employee eating food from a steam table insert before placing the remaining contents of that same insert into the steam table and serve customers. This is not a minor complaint about cold food or a missing ingredient. This is a fundamental breach of basic food hygiene and handling standards that puts every customer who visited that location at risk. Chipotle's Response — Or Lack Thereof What has been equally troubling is the complete failure of Chipotle's Customer Care team to take this matter seriously. Since the incident I have: Contacted the Customer Care team multiple times Submitted photographic evidence of the employee and the incident Called and requested to speak with a supervisor or someone in a position of authority Escalated my concerns in writing, including to senior leadership within the company Requested that management review the camera footage from the date and time of the incident — clearly documented on my receipt (Order #619, March 13, 2026, 7:50 PM) Despite all of this, the response from Chipotle Customer Care has been dismissive at every turn. My concerns were not meaningfully acknowledged, the photographic evidence I provided was not addressed, and no one from the company followed up with a genuine explanation or any indication that the incident was investigated. Their resolution? A QR code for two free meals. I want to be clear, this was never about a free meal. This was about the health and safety of every person who ate at this location and about holding a national restaurant chain to the basic standards of food handling that customers have every right to expect. What Happens Next Given the lack of any meaningful response from Chipotle, I have contacted Toronto Public Health and the relevant food safety authorities to report the incident formally.

  Went here late at night and they didn’t disappoint! Staff were patient with my large order, the price & the amount of food was worth it. Heidee, Bea, and Luke were great, so were the kitchen staff (they gave us more fajitas)!

  When you mobile order from this place and you try to pick it up, they don’t even give you your order and tend to the line first before dealing with mobile order customers. They have a wall pick up for mobile orders but decide to leave them on their kitchen counter. What’s the point of mobile orders then? I understand if it gets busy but at least acknowledge the customers who are waiting for their mobile orders instead of completely ignoring them.
