Over the past month the service has become some of the worst I have ever experienced. Tonight the food and service took and even worse turn 1- not informed that there wasnt any white meat until well after seated 2- sat for 8-10 minutes before even being asked if we wanted anything 3- waited 40 minutes for food 4 - food arrived dry and salad wilted 5- no cutlery - went and self served that piece. I am beyond disappointed and very hungry as I chose not to eat the food served. Sorry folks I am not one who normally complains but this time it had to be done. This is a thriving business and should do better before it’s not.

The last three times I’ve gone through the drive-through at Swiss Chalet Tillsonburg, they have forgotten items from my order. I live 20 minutes away, so it’s not like I can just turn around and grab what I already paid for. I called the store, and the lack of care was shocking. The only thing they offered was $10 off a future visit—which is insulting when people are literally going without meals because of their mistake. What makes it worse? The last time this happened, I was given $10 off, and they refused to let me use it this time. So essentially, I paid for food I didn’t receive and got nothing in return. No delivery of the missing items. No real compensation. No apology that felt genuine. Just complete indifference. Their job is simple: take the order and put the ordered items in the bag. That’s it. I work in a hospital—if I did my job wrong this consistently, people would die. Mistakes happen, but repeated mistakes with zero accountability or empathy are not okay. This has been beyond frustrating and incredibly disappointing. I will never be going back, and I strongly recommend others double-check their bags—or better yet, go somewhere that actually cares about doing the bare minimum.
