  Balkaran was an absolute pleasure as our server. Absolutely made the experience all the better. Food was excellent, ribs were really good! 5 stars!

  What I learned today was that many, many restaurants are closed on Mondays in Thunder Bay, what I also learned today was I like Kelseys WAY more than I was anticipating. Honestly, the food was what I was expecting for a chain - though the fish in the fish and chips was awesome, the chips were a standard chain restaurant frie (not complaining, but it is what it is, I can only assume not made in house) Not photo worthy but filled my stomach and hit the spot. The food and drinks are a great price, especially during happy hour. The actual gem of this entire evening was our server Hunter - serving us a phenomenal experience including dynamic recommendations, beer tastings and his sweet, genuine personality. He made us live, laugh, love Kelseys Thunder Bay ❤️🙌🥰 Service alone was a 12/10, the food met requirements and atmosphere would have me come back for another visit. Ask for Hunter by name, highly recommend.

  Food is mediocre, but Hunter was an absolute highlight of our visit at Kelseys! He was attentive, and genuinely hilarious. He kept us laughing the entire time while still making sure our drinks were full. His energy and personality made the whole experience so much more fun than expected. Thank you Hunter for your service!

  Went to Kesley's on December 22/25 .Ordered fish and chips and the fish was not cooked when served to me. The waiter was great, took it back but I had to wait for another order. In the meantime my mother was done her meal before I received the second order. It was cooked and it did taste good, but I lost my appetite after being served under cooked fish. I still paid full price and was surprised that a manager did not come out to speak to me. I took the leftovers home but threw it in the garbage. Very disappointing meal. But I will say out waiter was great.

  My family and I went to Kelsey’s for a birthday lunch. The older lady that escorted us to our table was sweet; she had brought my nephew some toys to enjoy while we’re sitting there waiting a reasonable amount of time for our server to come to our table. It wasn’t very busy. Anyway..we got our food which was very good and well presented. However…. Our server did not come by until we were finished our meal to collect our plates-didn’t ask if we enjoyed or if we needed anything during our meal. Myself and my nephew weren’t offered a refill and basically didn’t see her before we left to even get a refill. They offered us a birthday desert. When brought to our table they gave us the wrong dessert…she slammed down the desserts and walked away. Three spoons and the three spoons were dirty and pretty much looked used. Waved her down for 3 more spoons she picked up the plate of spoons came back 5 minutes later and slammed down a new set of spoons and walked away. Said NOTHING. Absolutely disrespectful. She was young. Maybe new to service industry. I don’t know. Don’t care. Completely rude. Won’t go back because of this server.
