  Came in today and there was a teenage girl working. Wasn’t greeted at all, after a beat we were like uhh… can we get 2 large subs and 1 small, we tell her what kinda meat we’d like. She cuts the bread and puts the cheese on and stares at us…. Me and my fiance exchange looks cause we’re waiting for her to apply the meat but she gestures to the veggies and we ask if we do that first and she nods. She proceeds to put everything on that we want and in that process we do mention we want it toasted. She acts confused and says people do that before but everyone wants something different so she applies the meat and puts it in the toaster. Puts on the sauce and charges us $36, with the same empty stare she greeted us with.. me and my fiance were kind of shocked by the customer service here. No leading questions, no direction and just rude honestly. Probably will never be back here… the subs were so soggy they were almost inedible when we got home. It was our fault we should have said we wanted it toasted beforehand, before the veggies, but we were so put off in the beginning by her listlessness we were stumbling through the interaction.

  I ordered two turkey footlong subs, all the exact same ingredients. I was charged for 4 six inches. I made a note of asking to be charged for two foot longs and they were confused and in capable. Not coming to this gas station ever again. Wish there was an option for zero stars

  The sub that was being made for me was not how a sub should be made! When people get hired for this job there needs to be someone who is teaching them to make a sub. I watched this girl put cheese and lettuce on the sandwich and I asked her what are you! I said you don’t put lettuce in a toaster over because it makes the sub soggy. I told her I did not want it and that I will be going somewhere else! People don’t even know how to make a sub sandwich

They have the best deals on uber eats and on their app which includes free subs for every 10th order, BOGO free subs, and free birthday sub. I came here for the free birthday sub recently, and I got a little bonus on that sub at this location! The lady that makes the sub is very friendly and takes her time to make the sub perfect!!!!!!! Mr. Sub is the best place for free birthday food for your birthday, so I highly recommend signing up to their subscription/app for a yearly free sub, which is better than any other birthday deal in Strathroy. The only thing they could add is more tables inside the the place but that is forgivable because Mr. Sub is located inside the gas station and there is a wooden picnic table outside the gas station where you can eat if you need to set down. It's likely better to do take out or do delivery here. I like Mr. Sub better than Subway because it's more affordable.
