  We have been to this restaurant in Stratford, Ontario many times. We have never had bad service. We have never had a bad experience. The food has always been well cooked and well presented. Our waitress this time was Heather, who has served us on a number of occasions. She has consistently being friendly and prompt with the service and attention to detail.

  The food is always great here. Waitresses and seaters are great. The issue we had was on Friday March 27, the seater was looking for a table for us and went to clean one up to quickly get us seated with my two busy kids. The male manager came over and asked why she was cleaning and then told her that we (as in me and my family) could wait. She explained again she was getting it cleaned to seat us and he said that he “was in charge”. It was one of the most unprofessional things I have ever seen. The seater ended up walking out. We told the female manager who didn’t seem to care too much. Told us three different times they will get the table cleaned and it took an additional 15 min to get seated. Shame on that male manager. Very unprofessional.

  The only keeping this place going is the Servers cause it sure isn't the management. The management treats the employees horrible and his wife is even worse. I'm not sure how they can even be mangers and Swiss Chalet allows them to treat their employees this way. The servers are Swiss Chalet and the only reason why the people keep coming back, cause its definitely isn't the management
