We were seated at 5:30pm and were served at 6:25pm - my wife thinks it was 6:30pm for a round hour of waiting. Our server Tom never came by to tell us of the delay - other customers were similarly inconveniences - and when the food was delivered, no apology or explanation was given. We were in town to go to a show at 7pm, so we tried to eat quickly which was not enjoyable and also pay so that we could leave when finished, with the waiter standing over us. Still no apology. So we asked for the manager, Frank, who made a half-hearted apology and a 'kinda' offer to accommodate us the next time we came in..... But he didn't offer to comp anything, even a drink! Not even another Lindt chocolate each!! Nothing. We got seated for our concert with seconds to spare. I get it that thinks happen in kitchens, etc., but we certainly did not feel valued as customers at this Swiss Chalet location.
