  Had an amazing chicken Caesar salad at Swiss Chalet today. The food was great, but what truly stood out was the service. Caroline, who goes by “Sweet Caroline,” was one of the most pleasant servers I’ve had in a very long time. Warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming — she made the experience even better.

  We had dinner at Swiss Chalet in Stouffville on April 18th. What stood out to us was the superb service by our server, Athiyan. He introduced himself to us and shared a bit about how he was finishing up exams and was pleased to be working at Swiss chalet. When we ordered our food, he asked us if we were CAA members (no one had ever asked us that before). When we said that we were, he let us know that we were entitled to a complimentary appetizer and that he'd bring that out for us while we considered our dinner options. I think what really stood out about Athiyan was that not only was he polite and pleasant to talk with, he was engaging. He didn't seem like he was just doing a job, he enjoyed what he did and made our dining experience great. Hats off to Athiyan!

  The worst experience I ever had in my entire life! This is my second time at this location and my wife and I always received the worst service whenever we come. First off, whenever we had Melisa as our waiter, she would always over-charge us on our bill. We ordered the 2 can dine special and ordered dark meat. However, when the bill came, we were charged $2 extra for white meat. She insisted that we ordered "white" but we clearly mentioned "DARK" meat. Furthermore, she complained to us that we already ate our food and that we should've informed her to confirm the color of our meat. We are newcomers so we are not sure whether the chicken we were served was "WHITE" or "DARK". But we shouldn't have to confirm the darkness of our meat and her dishonesty really ruined our experience here. Additionally, she would always serve us additional sides and condiments but we were not aware that there is an additional charge for it. When we caught her mistakes, she would never admit fault and is very rude. It's like we had to record our previous conversation in order to prove our case. After the resolution of our bill, she became very agitated and commented on our race mentioning she would never serve "our kind". I never felt that kind of disrespect while living in Canada. She is very shameless and I can never imagine having a server like that working in a well-known restaurant chain. I never had to deal with racism ever in my life but I would've never imagined experiencing that here in Canada. This issue should be raised to upper management and I demand a full refund plus additional compensation due to my experience here.

  No cutlery no napkins no butter for roll with take out order how’s that possible. Ask for everything or check before you leave. I’m acceptable

  Dined in. Table and benches sticky, ribs over cooked, chicken wings retired, fries cardboard and the washroom was disgusting. Otherwise it was regrettable
