  Welland Ave location- Stopped by this morning after a bad experience with the feminine sounding person taking our order last week. They didn't understand us last time, and got confused. They entered our order in wrong so the food was wrong. We decided to take the loss because that person was obviously new and we wanted to give them a break. We decided to try again today at 7:49am. The order taker sounded the same but could have been different. They misunderstood us again, and the item we started our order with was wrong on the screen. My husband was trying to explain that we wanted the sausage mcmuffin with NO egg, and the person asked if that completed our order. We said no, only that item is complete. We have more. The order taker got defensive and said "Well, I asked if that completed your order and you said yes!" My husband stated they should have been more clear, and went on to explain we were only done trying to get you to fix the item on the screen. The order taker gave a nasty laugh, an "aha!" as if we were so stupid. My husband asked, are you laughing at us? To which the order taker said yes. We drove off and gave our business to the Mcdonalds over on Ontario street instead. We will NOT be back to the Welland Ave. Location. Obviously this order taker is new to customer service. Trying to give them a break last week did not help and we should have complained then. We are not looking for anything free from Mcdonalds, but we do want to make everyone aware of this incredibly disrespectful interaction. Even if the customer IS in the wrong, which we weren't, they should never be laughed at to their face. I'd give zero stars if we were able.

  I placed a mobile order on March 23 at 11:59 PM and waited in the drive-thru for about 13 minutes, receiving my order at 12:13 AM. The employee who handed me my order was very rude—she didn’t say anything and didn’t apologize for the wait. It felt like she didn’t care about customer service and was simply trying to pass the time by delaying orders. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

  best customer service! Daniel G and Dave P are both very professional and kind,they are very good at his job and definitely kind to the customers they serves. Wish there was more more people like them in the world, excellent workers are so hard to find! Thank you!

  On Tuesday, March 3 my grandson was extremely excited for the mini sticks to be released at McDonald’s. So when school was finished, we drove on over and grabbed ourselves each a meal from the Taylor Road location in Niagara on the lake. Everything was amazing and our entire order was there including our sticks. Thank you 🙏 That evening, a couple hours later, my husband was very jealous and proceeded to McDonald’s to get his own hockey stick. He picked up the meal as well and brought it home but from the Welland avenue location in St. Catharines. Upon arriving home, he realized there was no mini hockey stick in the bag. Concerned he called and was unable to get through to the store so I took over the calling as he ate his meal. After two hrs someone finally answered and they would not do anything for my husband at first and questioned as to why he waited two hours to call back. As we know that was not the case but after a lengthy discussion the employee insisted he come now and get it, it could not wait or be picked up tomorrow. So he had to drive at 930 pm back out to get his mini stick from this welland Ave location. From their behaviour on the phone I got the impression it was intentional and now they were mad he wouldn’t let it go. Just keep an eye out if you go to Welland Ave.
