Tried to make an order online through their website by using the coupon but website was having an error so had to come at the store to order. We had the physical coupon so we gave it to the cashier and when we ask to get Caesar salad as the appetizer we were refused that only perogies was the appetizer. We tried to confirm with the cashier that online we could choose a salad, but she couldn’t understand that there are multiple appetizers that were available for the two can dine deluxe coupon. We didn’t have time to argue so we took the perogies and ordered the meal. When we got home, the chicken was dry. The skin taste like burnt and soap. The only thing that I enjoyed was my loaded fries, but unfortunately, the sauce was only half on the fries. Luckily I could use the gravy to eat with the fries…
They were busy…but sadly the quality was affected.

Was very dated and tired looking. Desperately needs a face-lift. Even the plates look like they are from the 70's. My cesear salad had so much dressing it was inedible and my dining companion's fries were way overdone. The only good things were the ribs and the service. Both were excellent. But it wasn't worth the cost. We spent $80 including tip for 2 to have dinner (no alcohol) and it really wasn't very good and the atmosphere was very tired and old feeling

Ordered take out at 12:48pm on Jan 3 for two entrees and one appetizer. I drove home and discovered the appetizer was missing and the fries for both meals were burnt and flat and inedible. I tried to call the restaurant back x 3 using the takeout delivery line and just speak to someone at the restaurant option. No answer on all lines. I do not get takeout on a regular basis and was severely disappointed in the quality of the food that I paid for today.

Quality of food has gone DOWN HILL. Serving cold ribs and French Fries.. Ribs had hardly any a barbecue sauce...French Fries thin.and dry. . I have ask for a water lemon bowl?? How the heck do you expect me to clean my hands with hardly any water ??. Since when is there are a shortage of Water?? I do not recommend.. Expensive...and frankly quality of service and food does not meet expectations or the ridiculous price...Service below average... I have eaten at various Swiss Chalet locations including Bloor and Royal York (Toronto) and Dufferin and Lawrence ( Toronto), Mississauga and Queenway ETOBICOKE over the past 30 years. There are better options like MANDARIN . I would rather eat at home.....Don't waste your time or your money..You will be disappointed.. The response below by the company is SUBSTANDARD and unreasonable given the prices that you CHARGE >>>DO NOT RECOMMEND...No Festive Dinner Available except this Lousy Chicken Parmasean Dinners.. You are not an Italian restaunant!! BIG PASS.

The last 2 times I've been here, the fries have been horrendous. They are only about an inch and a half and rock hard. I couldn't stick a fork in them so I had to use a spoon. If you want to do shoestring fries maybe learn the proper techniques in cooking them otherwise go back to the thick fries please.
