It was a cold winter night. There I was, tied to a railroad track, a moving train bearing down on me. The train horn is blaring, the lights are flashing, and as my life flashes before my eyes, I feel the train stop. Centimetres away from my restrained body, I see her, my hero, Amy. She had zoomed in on her motorcycle, swept me into her arms, gave a little wink, and stopped the train with her mind. The tacos were lovely, and I appreciate the artistry in the cotton candy Shirley Temple. Love you, diva!

Incredible service from Amy. She drove me to the hospital on her motorcycle when I was having contractions and then single-handedly performed an emergency c section. When the hospital caught on fire, Amy carried me and my infant daughter, who I named Amy, to safety and then went back into the building to assist the firefighters in rescuing more patients. Also food was bussin. 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

My friends and I were in search of 'our place', somewhere to frequent often and without thinking long and hard about it. When we came to Montana's the first time, they had some specials and one of the specials was half price wings. This particular restaurant has become 'our place', more due to the personable staff and care taken to make sure we get what we need. We now find ourselves asking for tables in the section of our server friends so we can visit with them as well. The food AND the staff keep my best friends and I coming back regularly!

We recently visited Montana’s as a family, and I can honestly say it was one of those rare dining experiences where absolutely everything was perfect. We arrived sometime between 4:00 and 5:00 pm, and at that point the restaurant was quite relaxed and not crowded at all. By the time it got closer to 6:00 pm, there was already a line of people waiting for tables, which says a lot on its own.
From the very beginning, the experience was excellent. I ordered an appetizer with shrimp and a soup. There were two soup options available, and I chose the beef and vegetable soup. It turned out to be incredibly flavorful and rich — not greasy at all, which is very important to me since I have a sensitive pancreas. It reminded me of a traditional Ukrainian solyanka, slow-cooked with deep flavor, rather than heavy fat. The shrimp appetizer was also outstanding, served in a light, crispy batter that we enjoyed to the very last bite.
For the main course, we ordered their signature pork ribs, and they truly lived up to the reputation. The meat was unbelievably tender and soft, with several sauce options to choose from. I highly recommend ordering the regular size rather than the large — the portion is still very generous and easily enough to share, which is exactly what we did. We also ordered a 10 oz steak, shared it, and were more than satisfied. Each meat dish comes with two sides of your choice, which makes the meal even more enjoyable.
Our 10-year-old son ordered a burger and absolutely loved it. The waitress thoughtfully suggested choosing the kids’ menu version, explaining that it’s essentially the same burger but more affordable — a small gesture that made us feel genuinely cared for.
Overall, we had zero complaints. Everything was delicious, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and would confidently recommend this place to anyone looking for a great family dinner.

Rarely do I write a bad review about a restaurant; if I feel the owner needs to know I will contact them. This is an exception. I visited your restaurant last night and I have to say your staff were excellent, polite, informative and made me feel welcome. I ordered the Rib & Wing combo with 4 wings and 6 ribs a side of beans and fries with gravy on the side, I'll start with the beans it came out as a condiment; same dish as the ketchup and there were 4 beans in a container of sauce. Next was the gravy it was like a dish of beef Jello, the cooks could at least thin it out every now and then so it a modicum of flow, the fries were cooked at least an hour before I received them they were warm and tasted stale. The Ribs I understand in Montana's world they are cooked for high volume service and they are always overcooked to my liking but a lot of people want their ribs to be fall of the bone pulled pork so that's on me. Finally the chicken wings, the flats were ok, not great, but ok; the drumettes were flat out horrible, just a gob of frozen undercooked dough, how the cook allowed those across the pass would be reprimanded in my kitchen. To add to this I ordered them hot; I think you need a bottle of Frank's or anyone's hot sauce in the kitchen they would not qualify as mild normally. Very disappointed to say the least. I didn't punish the servers for the poor food; having worked in the food industry and I'm a current volunteer cook at Heritage Park with our group Les Marmitons International and I would never cheapen the Tip for this. Please take note whom ever the owner is, you can do better.
