  Hadn’t been to Kelsey’s for years I was actually on the opening team of Kelsey’s Clifton Hill, so I know a lot about Kelsey’s. I recently went to the Pen Centre location and had a great experience. Went bowing with the family at Fairview so decided to try this location. What a mistake. Should have gone back to the Pen. It was Saturday night at 8:30 and not very busy at first. The gentleman at the door was great. Not sure if he was a manager or owner but he was hustling and doing everything in the place. The bartender was pleasant at first but once she got a couple more tables she was non existent. We ordered nachos at first and when they came out, the lettuce on top was like they dumped a salad on top of them. It wasn’t shredded. Commented on it to our server and she said ya it shouldn’t look that way and would mention it to the kitchen. If you knew it shouldn’t look that way then why serve it. I could have used some salad dressing to eat them. They were also on the edge of being burnt. The cheese was beyond melted. Then the main meal came out and the quality wasn’t the same as the Pen location. It’s a franchise. Should be consistent. It wasn’t. Not once did the server come come to ask us how our meal was. We had to ask for take out containers which took forever to get and then ask for the bill as well. Clearly this bartender needed help and should have gotten it since the rest of the restaurant was dead. Do yourself a favour and go to another location.

  One of our go-to spots for dinner and drinks! My meal is always the chicken fried chicken or balsamic chicken and my hubby gets a burger but on our most recent visit, we had the crispy thai chili back ribs and they are 🔥!!! Whatever we order is always 🔥!!! Service is always good, shout out to our server Fallon! She is a gem!

  Lunch at YMCA Drive location in St. Catharines was disappointing. The meal started strong with the calamari, which was good, but everything went downhill after that. The Thai beef lettuce wraps were poorly executed. The lettuce was soggy, full of holes, and completely unusable for wrapping. On top of that, the beef and vegetables were cut into extremely large pieces, making the dish impossible to eat as intended—even if the lettuce had been fresh. Overall, the quality did not justify the price. Not satisfied with lunch at this location.

  10/10! We came in with our kids hockey team and Alyssa and Laura took care of our craziness , and they were amazing! Food is delicious (as always), so organized (with a hockey team chaos is an understatement) and Bryson killed it on the bar for all of us!! definitely recommend for a family night out, or a team event!

  Service: SUPERIOR!! Having been a server myself all through university and into my 30's, and scoring 102% on my mystery diner (100% on the service component, plus some extra bonus points I assume for menu suggestions, etc.) so I'll admit I have high expectations of servers (such as check backs re how the food is, communicating if there's an anticipated delay of any kind, noticing when beverages are low, etc) - I can honestly say Christina is the best server I/we've ever experienced!!! She had DELICIOUS menu suggestions (such as ranch dipping sauce for the apple butter bbq wings), and even double checked our 'wings coupon' prior to inputting the wing order to make sure it was still valid! Food: The hubster & I are also pretty discerning about cocktails... the honey peach tea lemonade is now one top cocktails - although it's super sweet, it's the perfect mix of Canadian whisky, honey spice whisky peach tea and lemonade with real pieces as garnish! And LOVE their fishbowl sized options for only $5.50 more (and in a much more aesthetically pleasing jar-type glass, rather than the usual fishbowl!) We enjoyed the Nashville bites (especialky if you love pickles and dill - which I do! lol), the mushroom melt burger (especially due to the crispy onions!), and we opted for the loaded fries (picture loaded nacho toppings, but on fries)!! Atmosphere: Honestly, neither of us have been to a Kelsey's in years, but noticed the new signage and have been meaning to go... glad we did - we really enjoyed the new decor, and especially the food/bevs & superior service! Would recommend (actually when we mentioned our experience to our family, my sister-in-law specifically said she has "never had a bad meal at Kelsey's" and for that reason, it's "one of her favorite restaurants", and we can see why - looking forward to our next visit!
