Tonight, March 15, 2026, I attempted to order a sub, the same way that I have done at this location for many years. I arrived at shortly after 10 pm, and noticed the “Sandwich Artist” working very slowly making a 12”, and a 6” sub, for a customer. When he was finally able to complete this enduring task, a pick up order arrived. Evidently, there was an issue with the cookies for this order involving type, quantity, or possibly both? When the Sandwich Artist finally got to me, it was 10:15 pm, and the location closed at 10:30. He asked me if I wanted my usual, but I said that I wanted to try something different. At this point he demonstrated signs of anger, as he aggressively reminded me that they close in 15 minutes, demanding that I not dine in! But, I quickly pointed out that I still had 15 minutes! This, while he knows full well that I always only get one sandwich, that only takes me about 5 minutes to eat. Plus, I never leave a mess, not even a crumb. He then demanded that he has to clean up! Meanwhile there was another customer behind me in line… So, I walked home, and made a quick sandwich that I was able to eat before 10:30.
This is not the first time that I have had issues at this location. I have tried to purchase a breakfast sub there during their posted morning hours of operation, but the location didn’t open until sometime much later. Also, the meatballs are often dried out and disgusting! I have even tried to be friendly with the staff members, and have found this particular Sandwich Artist to be inconsistent, and a bit of a story teller…
I won’t be back!
