  When I was the Mc Donald’s in Scarborough Town Centre Walmart location . I noticed that employee making the food wasn’t Wearing a hair net or gloves . She made my food with her bare hands . This is unacceptable and very unsanitary. Also, she did not use any utensils or equipment. Luckily , I didn’t get food poisoning or get very sick . Also the employee serving the food was quite rude and looked like she didn’t want to be there.

  Today I found a folded plastic piece inside a wrap at this location, Scarborough town center food court. I immediately reported it to the staff and the manager. The manager dismissed the concern right away and insisted it was a fingernail before even checking it carefully. After I looked more closely, it was clearly a piece of plastic. When I asked if there was a proper way to file a complaint, the manager told me to “just write a Google review” and said I could “write whatever I want.” I also asked for a copy of my receipt. The manager picked a random receipt from a trash bin and handed it to me. I told her it was not mine. She then said my receipt could not be found. When she briefly checked the system, she claimed the order number only showed “one fries,” which clearly did not match my order. Finding foreign material in food is already a food safety concern. The dismissive response and lack of proper complaint handling made the experience even more disappointing. I hope this location reviews both food safety procedures and customer complaint handling.
