  Despite booking well in advance <~1 week) for a hockey team lunch, it took roughly 1.5hrs to get food, and no drink refills for over 1.75 hrs. We were the only people in there.

  our waitress said we could do the half price wings as well as the free spinach dip- when the bill came her manager said that normally that is not allowed as we are already getting a discount on the wings but they allowed it this time:) super great service and very nice waitress! food was great and had an overall great experience

  If I could give no stars I would. Came in waiting a long time at the door. Were told they had an expo and a host not show up. Fine. Asked if we could have a booth. She said she has a couple of tables and can’t clean it I said can someone else clean it, I said I can clean it. She said no no that’s okay. Walked away, then we stood at a table waiting for 10 minutes the blonde bartender came up and asked us if we’ve been helped yet, I said we were waiting for a booth to be cleaned at this point there were three booths available but we’re all dirty. The bartender was condescending and was like “oh ok”and walked away and poured drinks. Never once saw a manager. You’d think if you are down two people the manager would be present helping. After 10 minutes no table not even proper customer service we left. We chose your location over another Scarborough location we WONT be back. I have been in the industry for 16 years, this was brutal. There was enough staff on to handle the volume.

  We came to eat here saturday, got our table in no time as it wasn’t busy, keep that in mind. We sat down, got our drinks, and sat with the menu for the few minutes. While we were looking over the menu, we could hear some banging that was constant for a few minutes. Things were scraping against the floor, employees yelling back and forth with one another. We finally placed our food order and the food came out quickly. The food was amazing, and the drinks were too. We got 2 more drinks and I guess the waitress overheard us saying we’d be there for a minute, so she took that as a cue to walk away for 24 minutes. We saw her walk past us multiple times as we were trying to flag her down politely and tell her we were ready for the bill, but yet we were ignored. We waited another 3 minutes but still she ran by us still ignoring us, and even started to move to the other side of the restaurant. Keep in mind it was not busy at all. There was one birthday party that was outside of her section, which was actually next to us and she wasn’t helping them at all, so no clue what she was doing. We have already waited close to half an hour at this point so we flag down another waitress and ask for our cheque, and she says okay. That waitress also just walks around clueless for another 3 minutes, ignoring us now. So finally we catch the attention of another waitress and ask her for the cheque. She asked who our waitress was and we pointed at her from across the restaurant and that’s when she makes eye contact with us, the other waitress flags her down and we offer to just go up there and pay as we are trying to make a movie and can’t wait. She says “just sit down she is literally coming with the machine right now” and walked off. It took our original waitress another few minutes to bring over the bill, and when she got there we ask where she went, she laughs it off and says “they had me over in that section as well,” and points to an empty section where nobody has sat the entire time we were there. We get up and leave, and ended up being late to our movie by a few minutes. Now I get it, it’s stressful being a waitress or a hostess as I work in the restaurant industry myself, but there was literally no excuse as there was no other section she could be tending to. The food was good, server was nice, but the atmosphere and waiting overall was something that has urged us not to come back. I would love to visit again if the issues that are occurring will be fixed, until then it’s a no for us.

  Very relaxing and enjoyable experience at Kelseys Original Roadhouse 😋🍴 We were seated upon arrival, given a booth according to our accommodations, and greeted by our server Jessie who was very helpful and sweet. Our drinks we ordered came quick and we were able to order two plates of Lemon Pepper Salmon—our favourite dish—even though it was currently off the menu. The salmon itself was delicious, with a light crispy layer on the outside and soft, moist fish on the inside that melts in your mouth. The pesto sauce we had asked to be put on the side was perfect with each item of the dish; salmon, broccoli and mashed potatoes (side dish choice), making it an even more enjoyable experience to mix flavour combos while enjoying company. Jessie was very nice to speak to, after delivering our dishes they often checked to see if we needed anything and were enjoying our meals, even making light jokes and creating a warm environment to talk about our plans for the day. Overall it was a great experience, would definitely come back again and recommend others to try out this location if they’ve yet to!
