  I recently visited Montana’s BBQ & Bar. The food was decent, especially the ribs and wings—they were tasty and filling. The atmosphere is nice and casual, good for hanging out with friends or family.

  This was my first time here and it was disappointing. We had thd barley beef soup as an appetizer which was tasty and at the proper temperature . My teenage son ordered the fish platter and he enjoyed the lobster and the shrimp. The fried battered fish had no seasoning in the batter or inside the fish and for a fried product it was not served hot. I ordered the rib sampler with brisket and chicken wings with double vegetables.. The only portion of the platter resembling a hot cooked temperature was the vegetable dish and slightly less were the wings. The brisket and the ribs had good flavor overall but were tepid to the touch. I held my fingers on the meat for a few seconds without worry about the heat hurting me in any way. We had waited close to 45 minutes for the main course to arrive and had 20minutes at this point to eat dinner so thd choice was to complain and wait longer for a hot meal or consider it sustenance and call it good. Perhaps it was on the warming tray too long and it cooled down too much before delivery to the table. At over $100 for our ticket, it was not a satisfying experience. The server Lilly appeared to be relatively new and was decent in her service. I hope if we return that overall service is better.

  We had Antonio’s and four cheese dip are the best appetizers they are always good if you don’t know what to get these two apps are killer good Had the fish and chips they were excellent I love fish and chips Loved the fish Our waitress Mel was top notch

  Came in for the Pork Back Ribs and they did not disappoint; fall-off-the-bone tender, perfectly sauced, and genuinely one of the best racks I’ve had in the Soo. Fernando made the whole experience even better with top-notch service from start to finish. Attentive, friendly, and on point the whole time. Montana’s always delivers, but this visit was a cut above.

  I had a great experience at Montana’s BBQ & Bar! The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served hot. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. What really made our visit even better was the excellent service from Ling—super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell she cares about her guests! Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Montana’s—especially if you get served by Ling.
