I’ve now had multiple negative experiences at this Subway location. Unfortunately This is my local Subway, and I go there about three times a week, so this is based on repeated visits, not just one bad day. it seems to be a pattern, not just a one-off situation.
The staff on my most recent visit were very rude and argumentative, and there was no greeting, basic customer service or even a simple smile when I walked in. As the worker was making my sub I had politely asked for extra pickles and I was told they are only allowed to put a very limited amount of veggies on subs instructions given by the manger. the example she gave was only 3 pickles on a six-inch. I even offered to pay extra and was told they still couldn’t add more. I’ve been to many Subway locations and have never heard of this . On top of that, the amount of sauce put on my sub felt excessive and careless, which made the experience even more frustrating.
I’ve also had previous interactions with the owner that were similarly rude and unprofessional, so this isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with poor attitude here. On one occasion, I ordered a 6-inch sub of the day and was never asked if I wanted to make it a combo I was just checked out. When I questioned the price, the owner came out and became very defensive, rude, and unprofessional, claiming I had been asked and declined a combo, which wasn’t true. What should have been around $7.99 for a 6-inch combo ended up costing me almost $10 for just the sub, That interaction felt extremely dishonest and frustrating.
Before leaving today , I was told that if I didn’t like their rules, I was welcome to go to another Subway which I will gladly be doing. I’ve never had issues at any other location but after repeated experiences like this, I won’t be returning here .
