  As a Toronto native now living in the U.S., one of the first places I have to visit whenever I come home is Swiss Chalet. My last trip was no different. As always, the meal was perfection. And can we talk about the consistency of that Chalet Sauce? It never misses. Mary was our server, and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She made sure our meal arrived timely, piping hot, and exactly as expected. Great food and great service made for a perfect visit back home.

  HUGE shoutout to Ghazal tonight! Truly the most lovely server we’ve had in a long time and we couldn’t be happier. Swiss Chalet is incredibly lucky to have a server so dedicated and fantastic at their job and who is so passionate about taking care of guests. We’ll see you soon again Ghazal, thanks again!!

  Very good food. I've been to a few Swiss Chalet's and been very disappointed BUT this location was very very good. I recommend this place. Mary our server was very friendly and kind.

  Ghazal was fantastic! She is a true gem! We came as family of 12 today and requested her because previous time her service was phenomenal. Luckily for us she was working and made room for all of us with no reservation. Food came out all fresh and delicious. Restaurant had a big rush and was pretty busy but Ghazal was always available for all our needs. As a large family we all enjoy her service and request for her every single time we come here. Keep the great work!

  I recently visited Swiss Chalet in Richmond Hill (Yonge St location) and overall had a very pleasant experience. This location is convenient, easy to access, and located in a plaza with plenty of parking, which already makes the visit stress-free compared with many other restaurants in the area. First, the service stood out as friendly and efficient. The staff greeted us promptly when we entered, and even though the restaurant was moderately busy, we were seated within a few minutes. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. Drinks were brought quickly, and they checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well. I appreciate when servers strike that balance between being helpful and giving guests space to enjoy their meal. Of course, the main reason people go to Swiss Chalet is for the rotisserie chicken, and this location did not disappoint. The chicken was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as expected. The seasoning had that classic Swiss Chalet flavor that many Canadians have grown up with. The portion size was generous, and the skin had a nice roasted texture without being overly greasy. The signature chalet dipping sauce deserves special mention. It’s a big part of the Swiss Chalet experience, and it was as flavorful as always. The sauce has that unique savory taste that pairs perfectly with the chicken and fries. It’s one of those things that really defines the brand. We also ordered a few sides, including fries and coleslaw. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside, which is exactly how they should be. The coleslaw was fresh and had a nice balance between sweet and tangy. Sometimes side dishes can feel like an afterthought at chain restaurants, but everything here felt properly prepared. However, that’s fairly normal for popular restaurants, and the staff still handled the flow of customers quite well. Overall, this Swiss Chalet location delivers exactly what people expect: consistent food quality, friendly service, and a comfortable dining environment. It’s a dependable place if you’re craving classic rotisserie chicken and a relaxed meal.
