  We had such a great experience tonight at Swiss Chalet, thanks to Leela! She was an amazing server—so attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring throughout our entire visit. She made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive, and her positive attitude really stood out. It’s not often you come across service like that, and we truly appreciated the effort she put into making our dinner enjoyable. Thank you, Leela, for going above and beyond!

  Tell your staff follow proper hand washing procedures . I was in the drive through and watched one of the takeout girls sneeze four times and yeah she covered her mouth but no hand washing after ?! I was disgusted , cancelled my order. The other one at Brock closed down please tell staff practice proper hygiene to avoid making customers sick ! Another time I ordered , this guy came to work with a dirty shirt . Imagine going to eat somewhere and the staffs shirt is filthy, look presentable and be prepared with an extra shirt , stains looked like he came in-like that . I worked in food service for years , and would carry an extra shirt to avoid having soiled clothing to serve customers . Try to improve these things and many times I’ve accepted 20 minutes wait times in the drive through for take out and no apologies . Please teach these new hires about customer retention and satisfaction per visit. I’ve been coming here for 6 years . But I noticed these young hires lack cleanliness !

  It is not my regular restaurant but it is a decent one in Pickering. Had the seafood fest meals but they were just ok. The beer battered fish was overfried and very dry. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed and took a long time for service and the food. The staff were very nice and sweet though. Food was ok, nothing to write home about, the standard diner kind of fare. 3.5 stars overall.

  I visited 2 weeks ago and had been greeted well the minute I had walked in by one of their greatest servers named Brianna, she made me and my family all feel welcomed, we weren’t feeling rushed at all since she was very patient. We sat a little bit close to the kitchen and had heard one of the staff & managers getting acting rude and hostile towards each other which made us feel unease. But I had ordered a seafood platter and Brianna brought everything out super quick and the service was overall amazing! would visit again!

  I visited Canada for the first time and decided to try Swiss Chalet as I’ve heard it is famous for generations. The food was great but the service was even better if not the best service I’ve ever received. We were taken care of by a server named Brianna and she was wonderfullll!! Very attentive! She brought everything out super fast and always made sure we had everything we needed. She made us feel very comfortable and was very welcoming and her over all character was great!👍
