Loved Pickle Barrel since I was a kid and there just aren't many around anymore. Told my son I'd make sure he experiences it and finally did.
Seated and the host took our drink order. Didnt get it for 20 mins but the manager (i think it was) brought our app and got right on the drinks.
Keffin was our server and he was great. Continuous check ins and refills. The food was DELISH!! Calamari, Angus bacon burger and rib/wing combo. We'll always be back!

I have been in this country for 38 years and always enjoyed eggs Benedict. It's runny poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and peameal bacon. It was always standards. It was just until recently I am being asked how I like my eggs for the Benedict? What? It seems wrong to cook it any other way. Ask any great chefs! Anyway I ordered my eggs to be runny and I got overcooked hard eggs. It was dry and choking me. Disappointing. Said it will come with fruits..I got a slice of honeydew melon. Waitress took forever to bring us coffee and water. In her defense she was the only one serving the entire section. I won't go back.

Opted to watch the March Madness tournament here tonight. The bar side and restaurant was surprisingly quiet with a single server who doubled as the bartender. Despite his hustle, he was unable to keep up with orders, clear dishes from tables, and return to our table in good time. He was visibly overwhelmed and we felt sorry for him. Nevertheless, it spoiled our idea of a great family outing at one of our favourite chains and left something to be desired.

Shortly after Pickle Barrel opened we went to check it out. Unfortunately we were sadly disappointed. Having worked in the hospitality industry I’m more than aware of the growing pains that new establishments go through. As a result we went back about 3 months later to give them another chance. Unfortunately it was the same old same old so we never went back. Fast forward to today and my wife and wanted to have a late meal as we’d had a busy day. We threw around a couple of suggestions but couldn’t agree on anything. She then mentioned Pickle Barrel and said she’d heard they had great corned beef sandwiches. I wanted no part of it but acquiesced as I was hungry. Man was I impressed by that sandwich. Everything about our visit was great starting and ending with Gillian who was incredible. Something tells me that I won’t be taking as long to visit again.

I brought my cousin here for her birthday dinner, she's vegetarian so ordered the beyond meat burger. The first time it came to the table, there was a big hair sticking out of it, so a server took it back to the kitchen to be remade. The second time it came to the table and she bit into it, it was a real beef burger. Staff apologized and my cousin didn't want to feel like a pain to have it remade again while my meal was already finished, she said it was fine. I had actually had to plead with them to make it again, but to go. They ultimately did and removed just the burger from the bill, but I definitely wouldn't go back here and wouldn't recommend to others.
